DealSale Application Store Review and Mini Haul

Fashion and Beauty shopping Apps seem to be the trend now aye? First I was introduced to YesStyle's Fashion App now DealSale's. In collaboration with DealSale, i'll be reviewing their mobile application. DealSale is App that offers a variety of products from beauty to fashion, so that you can shop anywhere on the go~ Great for those long train journeys and lecture breaks. :')

I am actually an iPhone user (so the print-screens below are from my iPhone ^^), but since I recently smashed the screen, for aesthetic reasons I used a Samsung to show the app in the photos above~ The App is free; available for iPhone and Android users. You can find the App by simply searching "DealSale" in the App Store or in Google Play. Once it's finished downloading, you can launch the App and start your shopping spree! 

 

The App is simple to use; the products are categorised under the tabs - All, Beauty, Accessories, Women, Designers, Kids, USA Warehouse and Bags. Just touch the category you're interested it and start scrolling down to browse the items. I do wish that the App had sorting and filter options to make browsing more efficient and more user friendly. 

 

After a quick browse, I picked out 2 dresses and added them to my cart. The prices are very affordable, yasss! I like how the app tells you how much quantity of the item DealSale has left. I didn't keep track of the date my order arrived (sorries!) as I'm currently busy moving to uni! ^.^ But it arrived roughly 2 weeks after my order was placed and I experienced no problems with my order. *happy times*

1) O-Neck Backless Loose Shift Dress in Black

This is the first dress I picked out; its available in black and white. I really like how casual this is, it screams sweater weather to me. Your back will probably be shivering though, you've been warned. :')

(Lesson learnt, don't take photos at 7pm otherwise you'll appear ghostly! T___T please excuse my grey lifeless looking skin tone in the up coming photos ;__;)

The back of this shift dress is a killer! I am completely digging the T cutout. I wore a sports bra under, thats why I have more straps at the back. The O neck cut is lovely too! I'm a sucker for off shoulder tops or anything with irregular cuts~ (because i'm clearly not a basic xD). Just kidding! A little skin exposure gives you them sexy vibes and make you feel confident. ^^  The material of the dress is very soft and warm, however it was a lot longer than I expected (or maybe i'm just short xD), I should have ordered it in a smaller size. >//<

2) Patchwork Bodycon Mini Dress

The second dress~ simple yet unique design. This would be great for formal parties. It has a cheeky mesh panel (on the left side if you haven't noticed ^^), if you wanted to wear this for work, you could wear a tank top under so that the mesh doesn't expose your skin. Lovely dress! The material is chiffon, which I think is an slightly eccentric choice to make a bodycon dress with. 

That's it for the mini DealSale haul~ Bet some of you guys didn't expect there to only be 2 items considering how I usually have a lot. xD Quite a fun app to use; I believe DealSale is relativity new so I am looking forward to see what future items they have and any future improvements/changes they'll make.

The Body Shop Mango Body Butter Review

The Body Shop £14 (*Gift - Thank you Jess <3 ^^)

You may have seen this featured in my SHOWER SHELFie - Shower Confidential~ I'll tell you a little story behind this gift. ^^ Jess got me mango specifically because this one time, she persuaded me to do an all-nighter revision session with her. She was hungry at the time (as alwaysss); searching through my kitchen there were mangos and flour. 11pm night time, I traveled all the way to her accommodation to bring her a mango and flour (to make pancakes). No pancakes were made, barely any revision was done and we ended up at a party lmao. A gift for the memories of our retarded friendship. xD

Enough rambling, time for the review!~ ^^

Packaging and Product:

The butter comes in a leak proof container with 200ml of product. The Mango Body Butter is formulated for very dry skin. It has a fresh exotic mango scent that is to die for! The scent is wonderful and invigorating~ Mango lovers are bound to adore this, it smells that nice, you will be tempted to eat it. :')

As for the product itself, it has a very thick texture and is quite heavy but absorbs into the skin quickly. I don't recommend this during summer or for those that live in humid countries due to the heaviness. It can feel greasy if you apply too much. However, it effectively provides the 24 hour hydration that it claims. The butter melts into your skin, intensely moisturising and nourishing it, leaving it feeling smooth. Definitely recommend for my dry skin friends. ^.<

Results:

I really enjoy using this butter, a lovely treat and luxury for your body~ It works effectively, moisturises really well and has a killer fragrance! I 100% recommend this (NOT IN SUMMER though!). Definitely a reach for product during winter. The fragrance will bring you some tropical vibes incase you're reminiscing them sunny vacations.

NewDress Online Store Review and Haul

NewDress sent me some lovely items to review and share my experience with you guys~ Thank you New Dress. <3

What is NewDress?

NewDress is an online fashion retailer that sells an array of fashion products, 100 new items are added daily. Very similar to Dresslink, which you may have seen on my blog before~

Shipping:

NewDress are currently offering free shipping, all orders come with a tracking number too. QwQ (Yassss, who doesn't love free shipping! I find it really annoying when shipping cost half the price of the order or more than the actual order itself waaahhhdjfkjsnd ;___;) The free shipping will sadly end soon (17th Sept) T__T". The shipping method I used was China Post, which takes 10 to 25 business days to arrive. I placed my order 4th August and received it on the 26th of August, it arrived within the time fame.

What Did I Order?

I ordered 5 items~ each was individually packaged.

1) Mickey Hands Crop Top

The first item I picked out was this badass Mickey mouse hands crop top. I LOVE THIS TOP SO MUCH! I personally find it a bit short, so I paired it with a harness to make it even more badass and to distract people from the skin exposure. (*the harness is not part of the top) It fits very well and is exactly the same as what the image shows.

2) Asymmetric Bodycon Dress in White

This bodycon dress was in my NewDress Wistlist~ I decided to get this first to review as it seemed to be many people's favourite item from the wishlist. ^^ The dress fits nicely and defines your body figure really well. It definitely needs a belt to accentuate the waist line otherwise it may look a bit off and plain. I adore this dress, absolute stunner for clubbing. The downside of this dress is that the material is very sheer and thin, meaning that your undies will show. To solve this problem I wore a white tank top and white safety shorts under.

3) Black & White Stripped Romper 

 

How cute is this romper?! I love how it brings back summer vibes with it's fun and bold zig zag pattern. I love the crochet detailing, adds such a cute touch! The quality of the romper is really good, it's double layered so you don't have to worry about your underwear exposing. The back is backless btw. The shorts section is really flow-ey and flares out. Love it, no complaints~ ^^

4) Geometry 3/4 Sleeve Loose Knitted Sweater Dress 

Yeah... you can definitely see a noticeable difference between the "dress" that the model is wearing and my one. I was looking forward to this item as I thought it would of been a nice Autumn piece, however the sweater "dress" is a lot shorter than the model's. It's an oversized sweater rather than dress. Which I am quite disappointed about. It looks similar to the model's but its not exactly the same. (trying not to be harsh but i'm a transparent blunt person, so I must say... it looks like mine has been shrunk in the washer.)

Sweater wise - it's not bad. The material is thick and very warming. Luckily my mother likes this sweater, so I will be giving this to her since I am unlikely to reach for it.

5) Over The Knee High Sheer Socks in Wine Red

Last item~ The socks are made with silk blend, rather than cotton. It's soooo soft and feel like thick tights. I chose to get a red wine colour, instead if your typical black. Excited to pair these socks with some autumn outfits~

Would I order from NewDress again?

Most likely since the price is inexpensive, the quality is good and theres a huge variety to chose from. But I will be more picky with the items I pick out next time (sorrryyy staying away from the knits next time) to avoid it being a little short. Otherwise quite happy with my order (thank you NewDress again for sending me these lovely items ^.^)

We Gon Tear Down The Club~

 

The cold isn't going to stop me from clubbing or partying~ Switching over to sleeved dresses and blazers I go. How alluring is this dress?! Simple yet sexy; absolute killer for clubbing. Evening parties too if you like. It defines your body nicely and shows off your figure, I wore an elastic belt on top to accentuate the waist line further. A gold belt would have stunning and glam-ed up the dress (I still need to invest in one xD.) It does make my legs appear thicker, which i'm not too fond of. Loving the small asymmetric detail, I am a sucker for anything that has an irregular hem. I recall MissGuided having loads of asymmetric skirts wah, will need to get some!

Zig Zagging My Way To Happiness~

Playing a bit of dress of up~ Something slightly new for me but I think it looks quite nice~ ^.^ Let me tell you something, it's not actually a dress haha. It's a romper, layered with a leather skirt on top, betcha would of never guessed that. xD The zig zag pattern is so fun and attention grabbing. My favourite part of this outfit has to be the crochet detailing, adds an elegantly touch and helps to soften the boldness of the zig zags. This outfit is chic and is quite formal, so it would be lovely for evening dinner or parties.
