Sasatinnie Mini Heart-Shaped Nail Polish Swatches and Review | Sasa Hong Kong

Sasatinnnie is a cosmetics and skincare line by Sasa. I can't remember the price of these nail polishes since I brought them when I was in Hong Kong, it something like 2 for $10. Like most Asian nail polishes these nail polishes don't have names. The heart shaped packaging of the nail polishes is very cute and unique. The cuteness triggered my urge to purchase them! >.< The downside of the packaging however, is that once you use the nail polish pass half way of the bottle, its quite difficult to reach the remaining nail polish.

Sasa Mini Nail Polish SPN150:

A nudy pale orange colour. The formula is very smooth and applies nicely. The polish dries quickly. However it is very sheer. It took me 3 coats to achieve an opaque colour, even still the nail peeks through the polish a little. Since there is little amount of nail polish, this will finish up within 2 to 3 uses, since you need to apply 3 coats for a solid colour. It has a nice jelly shine finish. It lasted for around 1 without topcoat.

Rating: 4/10
Would I Repurchase?

No - I do love the colour but I don't have patience to build up so many coats every time. Also since the bottle is so small, it will finish up quickly.

Sasa Mini Nail Polish SGL503:

A glitter nail polish - transparent coral pink polish with gold iridescent glitter. The formula was smooth and applied nicely even with the glitters. I like how this polish has loads of glitters, it has more glitters than other polishes I own. 1 coat is enough for the prettiness of the glitter to show, but I applied 2 just so its more opaque and has more glitters! It has a slight rough finish due to the glitters, the finish of the polish is slightly matte. This one lasted 3 days before it started chipping. The con with this polish, is that after a while the consistency becomes thicker and hard to work with.

Rating: 6.5/10
Would I Repurchase?

Yep - the colour is very pretty and it has loads of glitters!

Sasa Mini Nail Polish SPN106:

A pinky purple colour. This colour was the most opaque out of the 4 shades I own; 1 coat was even for the full opacity. This will properly last for a good 5-7 use. Once again the formula was smooth. The finish is like a standard nail polish with shine and lasted for a week without top coat.

Rating: 7.5/10
Would I Repurchase?

Yes - it has the highest quality out of all 4, smooth formula and pigmented.

Sasa Mini Nail Polish SPR220:

A aqua blue colour, with blue iridescent shimmer. The formula of this is one is the most sheer out of the 4; it took me 4 coats to achieve an opaque colour, the nail does peeks through the polish a little. It has beautiful finish, you can see the blue iridescent shimmers sparkle and it has a nice shine. This one also lasted for one week without topcoat.

Rating: 4.5/10
Would I Repurchase?

No - beautiful finish however I definitely don't have the patience for 4 coats!

Overall pros and cons

Pros:

  • Great range of colour
  • Very inexpensive
  • Great for those that don't use up full sized nail polishes
  • Smooth formula
  • Dries quickly
  • Most colour lasts for a decent amount of time without top coat
  • A cute decoration for your desk

Cons:

  • A lot of the colours are sheer
  • The opacity of the polishes are not consistent throughout the range
  • Finishes within 2-5 usage

Which colour out of the 4 do you like the most? ^_^

KPop Diet #9: 2YOON 24/7 Diet

A healthy and not extreme KPop diet I have found. ^_^
However theres not much information on it. >.<

Gayoon lost 8kg (17.6 lbs) during the 2YOON promotions. The diet they were on, was done alongside exercising. She stated that "If you dance '24/7' just two times, you start sweating a lot."

Lunch: Sweet potatoes and boil chicken breast everyday

Exercise: 24/7 dance routine twice or more and aerobic exercises

Here is a video of the live performance, so you can see the 24/7 choreography

Do You Have Ideal KPop Leg Measurements? (SNSD)

I've always wanted slimmer legs. >.< I came across SNSD's Jessica and Tiffany's leg workout routine which they did on StarKing back in 2010. So i'm super late!

Tiffany's trainer mentions "ideal leg measurements" which is 5-3-2 (50's-30's-20).

► To find measure your legs:

  • Measure the thickest part of your thigh (5)
  • Measure the thicket part of your calves (3)
  • Measure the smallest part of your ankle (2)

If you want slimmer legs, you could try out Tiffany's 532 Leg workout. Demonstrated in this video.

But just for fun, do you have ideal kpop leg measures? ^__^

Of course your height plays a role too, so don't be too harsh on yourself! Everyone has different body types, thus different leg proportions. People with shorter legs, will likely be less then 5-3-2.

My measurement is: 53-34-19
Height: 163cm / 5"3

My ankle is close~ Tell me in the comments below what your measurements are? ^__^

Hairstyle Update #1: Long Bob / Sulli's hair

After all the bleaching i've done during last week and in the past, my hair was ridiculously damaged. My hair has never been this damaged before, so I went to the hairdressers to get a trim. I asked for 3 inches to be cut off, so that I could grow out the damage and cut it off over time. However my hairdressers cut off more hair than I expected, 6/7inches. I genuinely thought my hairdressers was joking when she said she would chop off all the damaged ends (the ends of my hair has been bleached over 8 times) and well... she actually did cut it off. .___. So now my hair is short, I would describe it as a long bob. Since it doesn't touch my boobs and its longer than shoulder length.

This is what it looks like~ (after I curled it ^^)
You may have seen it on my Instagram, since I didn't update my blog for a week and now I am slowly   back tracking posts~

I was quite sad at first; had my little cries on Facebook and Twitter haha. But hey hair grows back, so its not the end of the world~ I haven't had this length hair since I was 12/13, so I guess its a nice unexpected change. I think this hair style looks really cute curled and that it suits my blonde well. I know the extra heating from curling isn't good, but I don't think I can put off this hair style straight.

My new hairstyle also reminds me of F(x)'s Sulli's hair ^^

Oh btw my hair before I got my hair cut~ so you can see how long and damaged it was before >.<

So have you changed your hairstyle recently or dye it? ^__^

Superdrug Colour Performance Permanent Dye - 8.1 Medium Ash Blonde Review

To even out all the bleaching i've done and to make my hair look more presentable, I'll be using a ash blonde dye. I picked up Superdrug's Colour Performance Dye in the shade Medium Ash Blonde, as it looks very similar to the Garnier Nutrrisse - Lighest Ash Blonde one i've tried and because it was on sale for £3.00. xDD

The box contains:

  • An instruction leaflet
  • Gloves
  • Colour cream
  • Developer cream
  • Intense colour conditioner

When I opened the box, I thought the packaging of the bottles and tube were very cute. xD Anyway to start the process; I mixed the dye together by squeezing the colour cream 1 into the developer cream 2 and then shook the bottle for a minute or 2. Then started applying it to my hair, in sections.  The dye contains ammonia, so there is a strong ammonia smell, but it's bearable. The consistency of the dye is runny, but it doesn't trip. Making it easy to saturate the dye throughout the hair. Once done, I tied my hair into a bun and placed a plastic bag over my head to let the dye develop for 30 minutes.

Once it was developed, I rinsed my hair with shampoo and then used the intense colour conditioner. The conditioner smells very nice, it left my hair feeling soft and pluffy, which I love! I couldn't stop touching my hair because it was that soft. There is a generous amount of conditioner, which should last around 5 or more usage.

(Nasty damaged) hair before the dye:

Results after dye:

A very happy girl with the results! ^__^

I love the results! The colour its even and very natural looking. It covered up the brassiness and gave my damaged bleached hair some life. I have received many complements with this colour, even my hairdressers loved the colour~ ^^

Pros:

  • Natural looking and vibrant colour
  • Easy to use
  • Even coverage
  • Does not damage hair
  • Affordable
  • Comes was a great conditioner (and a good amount of conditioner)

Cons:

  • Contains ammonia (creates a strong smell, some may not like)

Rating: 9/10

Would I repurchase?

Definitely! Affordable and offers beautiful results~ I want to try more! and see if their other shades will offer such nice results too. ^^

Would I recommend it?

Definitely! I'm pretty sure, this is the highest rating i've given to an hair dye. The love the results so much, if only my camera could capture the full beauty of the colour. >.< Very easy to apply, I had no problems at all with this dye. I couldn't think of any cons except for it containing ammonia. xDD I hope that lovely as he tones will last long~ ^^

Have you tried any of Superdrug's own brand dyes? If so, what do you think of them? ^_^
