Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask Review

Some magical editing for a magical month~ ^.^ I got this sample along in my Innisfree shopping spree back in Hong Kong. I have the tendency to use masks whilst studying because it's like a mini stress reliever. Being the potato queen of procrastination I am, i'm going to start sharing/reviewing these "mask sessions" to somewhat make my procrastination more productive? XD Staring with the review~

The clay mask is made with Jeju volcanic clay, which is said to remove sebum and impurities effectively. A 6 in 1 mask that helps to shrink pores, control sebum, exofoliates, deeply cleanses, brightens tone and cools.

It has a velvet texture with a thick yet lightweight consistency, it doesn't harden much so you can still freely move your facial muscle. Has a light soothing scent; you don't really notice it when it's on your face so its great for those that are sensitive to fragrance. I left the mask on for 10 minutes, you can feel a lovely minty cool and tingling sensation when it dries. The cool and tingling sensation was still there even after I rinsed it off with lukewarm water. Easy to apply and dries quick~

My skin feels smooth and deeply cleansed afterwards, however it also feels less hydrated. The mask helped to control sebum and slightly minimises pores. A pretty good mask, I wouldn't mind purchasing the full product. ^^ The full size (100ml) is available from the official innisfree site for £10.15 if you are interested~

Rating: 7/10

Does anyone else use masks whilst studying too? ^^

⋆❅ ~Christmas Wishlist 2015~ ❅⋆

I swear it was March like one second ago .____. anyway starting December with Christmas spirit and ofc a traditional wishlist! It's snowing everywhere else except in Lancaster omg, please hurry up snow! ;___;

1) iPhone 6s Plus in Rose Gold

Being the tech girl I am, all my xmas wishlists so far have started off with a phone xD Loyal to Apple, i'm going to stick with the classic iPhone. No one even try start an Apple vs Android debate with me pls.

2) GoPro Hero+ LCD Action Camcorder

I want to start filming more vlogs, GoPros seem like the perfect camera for that. :')

3) Crystals

I'm obsessed with anything magical, as you could probably tell from my blog design. Crystals are known to contain magical energy; there's a theory that if you place crystals on energy point of your body, the crystals will transmit energy to help heal, calm and revitalise oneself. ^^ Believer of magic because reality is mundane, stressful and predicable (most of the time).

4) Banggood LED Light Star Pillow

I saw this on tumblr and omgggggg it's so cute i'm going to cry~!

5) ColourPop Cosmetics

So many American Youtuber use Colourpop cosmetics, they looks mazing! Unfortunately they're so difficult to get in the UK or sellers double up the price online. Dx

6) Victoria Secret Body Mists

A hella lot of them because they smell the bomb!!!

7)  Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Eye Shadow Collection

How cute is this palette? *^* There's no reason as to why I wnat this palette ion partcilar, I just really want a new pallet and still yet to own a high end one. T___T

That's it for my wishlist this year (well what I could think of anyway xDDD) What items are on your Christmas wishlist this year? :') Link me your wishlist in the comments below, I would love to see them!

<3

LANEIGE Water Bank Essence Review

Quick review because i'm drowning in revision and coursework welppp! Anyway the Laneige Water Bank line is highly raved, i'm sure those that use Asian skin care have already about heard it 362839320+ times already. I have the essence in a travel size version, which came with a Laneige trail kit. The full size (60ml) is available for $32.50 from Sasa.

There are two versions; Water Bank Essence and Water Bank Essence EX; EX is the improved version and does not contain alcohol, so it's more recommended for those with sensitive skin. The water bank line was designed to provide long lasting 24 hour hydration for all skin types. I have dehydrated skin; this really helped with boosting and maintaining the moisture levels of my skin. ^^

The essence's consistency is runny and light. It spreads easily and absorbs into the skin quickly, leaving a moist and velvet finish. I seriously can't stop touching my skin after application! Feels like my skin has been injected with loads of moisture. It has a lovely light and fresh scent too~ But don't only rely on the essence for moisture, remember to apply a moisturiser after too!

I really enjoyed using this essence, I will most likely purchase in this the full size~ ^^ Although it is quite pricey, I definitely think it's worth the price as it does what it claims and makes your skin feel so nice! Like that moist glowy skin Korean celebrities have. *^*

Rating: 9.5/10

What essence or serum are you currently liking? ^^

Holland & Barrett Aloe Vera Gel Review

Holland & Barrett £6.99

Aloe vera is widely known for various benefits and uses in the beauty world, thus making it an essential item. It can promote healthier skin by providing hydration, heal, cool and soothe skin after sun exposure etc. I chose to purchase this one in particular because it's bio active, certified and produced from 100% pure aloe to provide maximum benefits. Plus there are many fake Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gels sold online, please be careful guys!

The H&B Aloe Vera Gel is available in two sizes - 100ml for £3.99 and 200ml for £6.99. It's often on half price or in the H&B penny sale, so it's nice little treat. I like that the gel comes in a tube packaging rather than a tub.

The gel absorbs in rapidly and doesn't feel greasy or leave any residue. Once dried it becomes transparent and temporary tightens my skin. Easy to wash off. I mainly use it as a face treatment to moisturise dry skin and soothe out my redness whenever I want to relax or before I go to sleep as it has a lovely cooling feeling. As for acne, I know many people do rave about how aloe vera helps acne due to it's anti-inflammatory purposes, however I didn't noticed any noticed except for the reduce redness.

Overall it's a good product for reducing redness, cooling and smoothing skin. It comes with a generous amount that has lasted me for months, I still have loads left! Made with high quality. I do recommend this if you prefer using natural products. ^^

TONY MOLY BCDation Water Pact - #02 Natural Beige Review

TONY MOLY HKD$218 (£18.49)

If you've read my TONLY MOLY Haul, then you would know I impulsed purchased this simply because my bae Hyuna was the face for it. Ta-da~ I assumed the Water Pact was going to be like a cushion due to the packaging but its not. (TONY MOLY did actually recently release a BCDation Cushion - September 2015; after I purchased this >.<). TONY MOLY has a line of BCDation products, which are part BB cream, part CC cream and part foundation. The Water Pact was designed with moist essence to provide moisture for 24 hours of moist glossy skin. As well as providing other skin care benefits - intense sun protection (SPF50+ PA+++), calms skin with a cooling formula, anti-wrinkle care etc. It's a 8 in 1 product: Mist + Sunblock + BB + CC + Foundation + Cooling + Soothing + Whitening. It's also waterproof.

Starting with the review~

The product comes in sturdy case with cream zebra patterns on. The case is reusable, you can push the pact from the back to eject it. Environmental friendly and great for travelling. It also comes with a extra refill so it's a great value for money~ The puff is made with foam and a rubber layer on top so that it doesn't absorb the product - minimum wastage.

It's available in two shades - 01 Skin Beige and this one 02 Natural Beige. I have it in the shade 02~ The product itself is a solid cream foundation.

Starting of with a cleansed and prepped face~ (and my new temporary hair colour huehuehue, back super saiyan cos i'm over 9000!)

Awks, my camera didn't focus on the product >.< The puff makes application quick and easy, no extra tools required and it distributes the product evenly for a airbrushed finish~

When you apply it, it does have a cool sensation however the BCDation feels very slick which I am not fond of. The shade natural beige is lighter than my skin tone but it blends in nicely to brighten up my face. I've noticed that it oxidised into a more natural skin tone throughout the day. The coverage is light to medium, I built it up to medium coverage to cover up my acne scars. I thought it would have provided medium to high coverage since its a cream/solid formulation.

It has a dewy moist finish; I haven't used powder in the photos but I like to set it with Innisfree No-Sebum Blur Powder on top to give it a semi matte finish since dewy skin doesn't really suit me .__.

With finished makeup~ ^^

Overall the BCDation Water Pact has an interesting concept but is just an average product. Not fond of the slick feeling upon application and lack of coverage it has. I do like the high sun protection factor, as I always forget to apply sunscreen under my makeup and the extra refill (simply because i'm Asian and can't resist deals xD). Offers a natural finish and gives a pretty glow to my skin, but majority of BB creams offer the same thing. I haven't noticed any added skin moisture, but I think it would be nice for winter as it would prevent skin from drying. I will use up the product but I am unlikely to repurchase it. Was hoping that i'll love it but it's just meh.

Rating: 5.5/10

Have you tried any products from the BCDation line? ^^
