SAMPURE MINERALS | Makeup Package Haul

I came back from Australia to find a super cute and generous surprise package from the owner of Sampure Minerals (Ada Saffell)! Thank you so so much~ <3 Literally screaming (ahhh) because I fell in love with their mineral foundation back in 2013 and it did wonders for my acne prone skin. Can't wait to share the items I received with you guys~

The packaging of the products is sleek and presents the quality of the brand well. The thing I love about Sampure Mineral, is that their products are vegetarian (approved by the vegetarian society), cruelty free and are halal. So if you're someone that cares about animals and is looking for a cruelty free products to try - LOOK THIS WAY! Makeup with no guilt.

Starting off the haul with nail polishes! I'm most excited about trying these out because I wasn't aware that Sampure Minerals did them.

Nail Polishes:

This is the Sampure Minerals Nail Polish Set 1. They have 3 different sets, all with gorgeous shades.
Colours left to right >
  • Juicy Pomagranate - Red
  • Raspberry Cupcake - Pink
  • Harmonic Tan - Nude

Face Products:

I believe this is their 4-Piece Mineral Make Up Set; which includes a full sized foundation, setting powder, blush and mini kabuki brush. You can get the items separately as well. The kabuki brush surprised me because the bristles are amazing soft.

  • Instant Glow Mineral Loose Foundation - Porcelain
  • Instant Glow Mineral Loose Setting Powder - Natural
  • Instant Glow Mineral Blush - Warm Spice
  • Mini Kabuki Brush

Lip Products:

  • Lasting Shine Hydra Lipgloss - Divine
  • Nourishing Long-Lasting Hydra Lipstick - Pretty Pink

Eye Products:

Excited to try the eyeshadow too! (little secret - I haven't used a crush eyeshadow/pigments before, so this going to be fun ^^)

  • Crushed Mineral Eyeshadow - Heavenly Bronze
  • Eyeliner - Dark Brown

That its for package! Hope you guys enjoyed this haul, if any item caught your attention, let me know and I will try get around to reviewing it for you. :') All the products have been linked as well if you want to check any out. ^^

CAFE ROUGE Birmingham. Autumn/Winter Menu Launch Event | #RougeSecretSupper

Massive thank you to Cafe Rouge for inviting me to celebrate the launch event of their new Autumn/Winter Menu! Much love for you guys~ <3 The event was held throughout the 3 branches they have Birmingham UK - Bulling, Mailbox and Brindley Place. I chose to go the Cafe Rouge in Mailbox because the view is stunning and it's one of my favourite spots for Instagram worthy photos. For those that haven't heard of Cafe Rouge before, it's your one stop for delectable French cuisines. Feeling steak? Duck? or maybe a glass of red wine with some cheese? They've got it all. Don't worry, they also have many vegetarian dishes too!

Here is the outfit I wore~ Since we were celebrating the Autumn/Winter menu, I opted out for that classic oversized cardi fall outfit. I probably should have went for a classy outfit instead of casual because all the other bloggers were so beautifully dressed up ahh! But hey, I had uni before I went ^.<

I was allowed to bring a plus one, so I invited my bestie Jess to have a nice catch and because she's always my steak date. <3 When we arrived at Cafe Rouge, we was welcomed with some cheeky Prosecco. The staff and atmosphere were so welcoming and friendly. Such a lovely start to the night of sensations~

We took some selfies while waiting for the bloggers to arrive because why not? :')

They also let us try some of the new items on the menu whist waiting, (apologies I didn't take individual photos of them) we tried Salmon Rilette - our personal favourites and we whole hearted recommended it!, Pate, Croquettes de légumes and many other delicacies~

Here is Jess being camera shy and trying one them! The Ting Thing in the background ahhh

Time to get to real meal going~

For starters, Jess chose Soufflé and I chose Escargots.

How aesthetic does the Soufflé look?!

Escargots, yes I ate snails! This is actually my second time; my first time eating snails was in France~ Now the big question - how does it taste? It just taste like mushrooms with a garlic butter. *laughing emoji face* On the right of the photo, in the little pot you can see the snails more clearly. ^^ If you have escargots for your starter, its oven baked with roquefort butter, smoked lardons and lemon paprika crumble. Full of texture and bursting with flavour.

After we've finished our starter, we had some Steak Education! He gave us some insight on the different sections of beef and how to enjoy a good steak. Everyone was very engaged into it and it was quite amusing watching other bloggers with their cameras out taking photos from all sort of angles. My friends normally get annoyed at me for taking photos of food before I let them eat.

All this amazing steak. We literally had a feast. Omg I captured the glorious moment when he cut the 24oz Côtw De Boeuf.

Wine tasting before we have our main~ Wine is a necessity when having steak!

Don't mind me tucking into this sexy 7oz Fillet steak~

To finish off the meal we had some cheese and the bae of all desserts - Crème brûlée

Fewwwwww such a long post, hope you guys didn't get too hungry from all this food/steak porn! ^.< Had such a lovely night but now it's time for me to hit the gym and burn all those calories I ate. Definitely worth it! I was already a fan of Cafe Rouge but their new menu has got me screaming over it. If you're looking for something different this Christmas or just want to try out some amazing food you can check out Cafe Rouge's new menu~ ^^ Please please please try the Salmon Rilette, it's so good!

TOMMY x GIGI | Parisian Chic Outfit

Gigi Hadid is currently the face of Tommy Hilfiger. I adoreee her fashion style~ so I decided to challenge myself and channel my inner Gigi Hadid - inspired by her collection with Tommy. I went for a Edgy Parisian Chic style, since that's the kind of vibes I get off the brand and whenever you see blue, red and white put together, you instantly just think of TH! The main focus on this outfit is definitely the contrast - dark to light, from head to toe. A little contrast play with the red and white stripes in this cute Zaful halter crop top too. (Omg iamkareno also has this top! <3) Ngl I feel like a different person with this outfit but its a nice change. ^^

Outfit details:
Top: Zaful
Jacket: H&M
Jeans: Levi's
Bag & Shoes from Hong Kong~

Have you tried/explored other styles? ^^

Hair Update #3 - Mid Blunt Bob & Natural Hair Design Salon Mong Kok, Hong Kong Review

PC: hkhairsalon.com

The hair salon I reviewed last year (Hair Q) shut down! T__T They have another branch (also in Tai Po) but I decided to look for a new one since many of my friends say that Mong Kok and Causeway Bay have the best hair salons in HK. I was in Mong Kok and felt spontaneous to cut my short since i've had long year for years now. Short hair is also currently very trendy in HK, Taiwan, Korea etc so yeahhhh let's go for it! ^^

Hair washing area. PC: Natural Hair Design fb

I went in without an appointment and didn't need to wait. I had a consultant done with Grey, he was amazing and advised me on all the different hair styles I could go. I originally wanted a blunt cut like Kendall Jenner. Cos omfggg I adore her~

But since my hair was previously layered, if I were to get a solid blunt cut I would of had to cut it chin length and I just did not had the mental preparation for it to be that short. So we decided on cutting shorter than Kendall's but longer than chin length.

I had my hair washed before cutting. Wash, cut and blowdry cost $130. ^^

Hair Before Cutting:

Hair After Cut:

Quite a drastic result, but I love it! Can't wait until my layers are fully grown out so I can't get that solid cut i'm after. I'm thinking of going even shorter. :')

After the cut I had a BBO treatment which cost $500 and took 45minutes to complete. The treatment completely changed my hairs' life. It was super oily for the first few days but after a few more washed my hair was like back alive again, better than ever! Overall I'm happy with everything, the cut and the service so I would recommend Natural Hair Design~ ^^ and rate it 8.5/10
