Essie Nail Polish - Cocktail Bling Swatch

Thank you to everyone that wished me happy birthday, so sweet of you!~ ^__^

Today I felt like channeling my inner "Ice Queen" xDDD So I opted out for Essie's Cocktail Bling. A simple cool-toned grey with a blue base, that results into a lovely muted yet rich finish. The polish has beautiful glossy formula, with a perfect viscosity and wide flat brush that enables even coverage. I have used 2 coats to achieve a nice solid colour.

Direct Light
Dim/Shaded Light

In direct light - the blue hue is more noticeable; resulting in a creamy colour that gives off sophisticated atmosphere.

In dim / shaded lighting -  a deep captivating mysterious vibe radiates. Subtly seductive colour - suit its name perfectly as it's great for those formal occasions / parties. Lovely as a everyday colour too.

This is one of my favourite go to colours for those days where I don't feel too bright yet want a bit of sophistication.

What colour nail polish are you currently wearing? or currently loving this month? :')
Let me know below in the comments and thanks for reading~ ^^

Innisfree Jejubija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence R Review

Ahhh It been a while since i've wrote a review~ Today I am going to be reviewing my newly found gem - Innisfree's Jejubija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence R (이니스프리 비자 안티-트러블 스팟 에센스 R)

Product Description:

"Enriched with torreya seed extract from pure Jeju island, Jejubija Anti-Trouble helps control blemish for clear skin. This spot essence rapidly calms down sudden apparent breakouts with it's Jeju torreya seed oil and green calamine ingredients."

Packaging:

The product comes in a mint blue tube - a great choice of colour as it gives off a clean and calming/soothing effect, making the product appear more trust worthy. A full sized tube has 15ml of product - a  sufficient amount for those nasty pimples.

Product:

The purpose of this product is be used on serious breakouts. Innisfree also has a Spot Essence W which is used to treat minors breakout and soothe bumpy skin. To use this product, you will need to use a cotton swab to apply it on the desired areas, to prevent bacteria transferring from your fingers.

It has a medicated yet calming scent, which is really nice and relaxing. The product has a thick consistency that dries up quickly to a matte powdery finish, like dried clay. The greenish tint helps to counteract redness. So you could wear it under makeup if you desired, however I like to apply it before I sleep.

The product is sheer magic! It heals, calms and reduces the size of pimples rapidly. My pimples disappear within 2 to 3 days, no longer 4. Leaving me with a nice flat surface again. *sighs of relief* :')

Pros:

  • Does a brilliant job calming and reducing size of pimples quickly
  • A little goes a long way
  • Reduces redness
  • Travel friendly (definitely bring this with me on flights and holidays xDD)

Cons:

  • Some people may find it pricey for 15ml of product or dislike the scent

Rating: 10/10

Would I Repurchase?

Definitely! I utterly adore this product, it has just done wonders for me. If you get pimples, I really recommend you to give this a try! ^__^

Have you tried any innisfree products that you would love to share? :')

Hope you guys have a great day~

L'Oreal - Colour Riche Nails Les Blancs - 851 Nouvelle Vague Review

A own bit too much nail polishes but this shade was too gorgeous and unique not to purchase! (Plus i'm a sucker for anything pastel~) 851 Novelle Vague is a cool toned lilac grey colour. The photo doesn't really do the polish much justice, the lilac is more subtle and toned down in real life, its like a white with a hue of colour (photos below show the colour better ^^).

The polish dries very quick. Here I am wearing 2 coats; the first coat will appear streaky and uneven, the second coat covers and takes care of that resulting in a solid opaque finish. I believe this is the lightest lilac and colour I own (excluding white). I don't usually got for light polishes as I think it looks odd against my slightly tanned hands. But this shade is gorgeous and looks lovely!

 Direct sunlight

Dimmed indoor lighting

The dimmed indoor lighting shows the true colour~ The bottle is adorable, it comes with a flat brush that makes application easier. The size of it is great for traveling, but the price for only 5ml of product is ehhh. Overall a good polish and loving the pastels from the Les Blancs collection. Thinking of picking up a few more colours hue~
