~•✯✡ Witch Vibes ✡✯•~ / Tumblr Edgy Girl Outfit

My current favourite outfit; I utterly adore this! I think I've worn enough colour for the last few outfits, so back to the dark side I go~ My hair can be the colour statement - speaking of which I need to get chopped off! :')

I tried taking photos outside today, however the lighting was so bad! >< It was either too bright or too dark. Anyway, here is the outfit I pulled together. I would say this is more of a summer transition to autumn outfit due to it being dark, but its also a great outfit for those of you that still wear black in summer.

A t-shirt dress with mesh panelling, casual and simple yet edgy. I took the edginess to the optimum by styling it with some cool accessories - spiked crossed necklace, steam punk circle glasses, suspender belts and a fedora hat. There's something about fedora and floppy hats that reminds me of witches, which is why I felt it was very propitiate for this outfit. I wore safety shorts under as it's quite short. Lastly, I paired this dress with some awesome leather chunky boots and wah la~

To top it off, I wore a gorgeous berry purple lipstick from MUA to add some more dark vibes. I will be reviewing the lipstick soon, so stay tuned for it! ^__^

Outfit Details:

Dress: Miss Guided
Glasses: Dresslink
Hat: H&M
Shoes: Topshop
Necklace: Select

Tell me below, which fashion style do you stan? ^^
Have a good day! <3

DHC Japan の健康食品 Ceramide (Moisture Anti-Dryness) Beauty Supplement Review

My waifu got me these beauty supplement as part of my belated birthday present so I am not to sure of the price, but according to her it was something around £5 to £8.

There are 30 capsules in the packet - one capsule per day to last you for one month. The purpose of these beauty supplements is to persevere the moisture in your skin and improve dryness to make your skin appear healthy and hydrated. I trailed these back in January, as it's recommend to take these during Winter / the drier seasons.

Product Description:

"Our skin contains ceramics which help to reserve skin moisture against natural loss. however, the disturbance of skin surface by external harmful factors changes the distribution of ceramides and its loss, the skin's moisture will gradually lose, making our skin look dry and unhealthy, A regular supplement of ceramide would improve the ability of moisture preservation in the skin."

The capsules comes in collagen shells with DHC marked on each one. They don't particularly have a taste, only a subtle hint of the collagen shell. The first week of trailing these supplements, I did not see any results, I carried on trailing them incase it may of been due to slow results. However, after completing the 30 day course I still did not notice any difference nor improvements. It may have provided some benefits if the concentration was higher or maybe it's due to different body types. I personally think it's due to the body breaking down the ceramide in the digestion process before it has the chance to provide any benefits.

Overall:

To sum this up, this product is pretty much useless and theres not much to say about it.

Rating:

0.5/10 (i'll give it 0.5 literally just for the creative idea)

Have you tried any beauty supplements before? If so, did they work out for you? ^^

LUSH Frozen Ballistic Bath Bomb Review

LET IT GOooo~ Such a catchy but irritating song! You guys were most curious about the Frozen Ballistic from my LUSH Haul so I decided to try out this first. ^^ An Oxford Street exclusive; inspired by the Disney movie - Frozen, a magical excitement any Disney fan could ask for. Frozen is a playful bath bomb that contains grapefruit oil and Tunisian neroli oil to thaw you into the iciest of moods.

It's wayyyy to hot for baths in summer, so I did use this in a cold bath. Bringing out the ice queen within me~ The second you drop the bomb into the water, an explosion of colour turns the water into a gorgeous icy cool blue. It bubbles a lot, creating a blanket that covers the surface. It contains shimmer and silver glitter that glistens throughout the bath, perfect lustre that fits well with the Frozen theme. The glitter reminds me of Elisa's magic and of snowstorms. This ballistic reflects the key elements of the film wonderfully.

My bath tub was filled with shimmer afterwards.

Honestly at first I was not sure what scent to expect from this ballistic, I was like "Eh what does snow or ice smell like? .___." The scent took me by surprise; the neroli oil provides a lovely light floral scent that is sweet, while the uplifting fruity grapefruit oil balances it out with it's deeper notes. Creating a gentle beautiful harmony - light and uplifting. The fragrance lasts throughout the bath experience and lingers gently.

A very exciting bath bomb, that hydrates your skin and leaves subtle shimmer on you skin, making your skin radiate when you get out the bath tub. The downside of the shimmer and glitter is that it does stick to your bath tub afterwards, so a rinsing is required to get rid of it.

Pros:

  • Turns water into a gorgeous bold icy blue
  • Hydrating
  • MAGIICCCC - shimmer and glitter
  • Gentle and uplifting scent

Cons:

  • Bath tub left with shimmer, will require rinsing

Rating: 8/10

What do you think of this ballistic? ^^
Hoping to pick up some more in August for you guys to try this out too! :')

LUSH Sex Bomb Ballistic Bath Bomb Review

You know what happiness is? Coming home after a hard-working or tiring day to some lovely lush relaxation! My waifu brought me this simply because of the name haha. #immature xDD

Sex Bomb is one of Lush's most popular bath bombs, its supposed to relax you giving you some sensual healing so you "feel in the mood"... It contains jasmine, ylang ylang and clary sage, which helps to clear your mind and soothe your worries. It also contains soya milk which has soothing conditioning benefits to heal your skin.

The bath bomb beings to fizzle the second you drop it into the water. I found that Sex Bomb fizzled more gentle and dissolved slower than Big Blue. The water turns into a cute milky pink colour; the highlight of this bomb is when the flower releases, expands and then floats around - a nice touch and pretty sight. After a while the petals get soggy, they didn't dissolve so I ended up mashing them up between my fingers.

The scent was not as strong as Big Blue; it was very subtle - hints of jasmine floral aroma. I would describe the scent as pretty and feminine rather than sexy and sensual. I just don't think the name suits the ballistic at all - Jasmine Delight maybe? (I'm terrible at giving names so actually I can't say anything lol) It felt gentle and innocent to me. xD It does smell lovely though! :')

After my experience, I found my skin to be soft and hydrated. Cleared up my thoughts pretty well too, I felt focused to do my revision (and also like a little fairy - as weird as that sounds xD). As for the scent, it does linger however since its quite subtle, its not that noticeable.

Pros:

  • Turns water into a cute milky pink
  • Soft and hydrated skin after use
  • Lovely scent
  • Romantic flower touch

Cons:

  • Scent a bit too subtle? Would prefer it to be stronger ^^

Rating: 7/10

Overall:

It's a wonderful treat and great for special occasions, not an essential though. I would recommend this for those that love subtle scents and florals, especially jasmine. I personally prefer stronger scents so I would opt out for a different ballistic. ^^

What kind of scents do you like? :') Tell me in the comment section below~ ^.^
Have a great day <3

Blushing~ 🌸 / Boohoo Dress

This is the full look I posted on Instagram yesterday~ I wore this dress to my friend Erika's 18th debut; the colour theme for girls was blush or cream. I originally had a black and white one as I did not read the invitation clearly, so I had to quickly do some last minute shopping. I am ridiculously picky when picking clothes! Nothing in stores or online sites I usually shop on appealed to me. I decided to give Boohoo a try and found this gorgeous blush lace panel dress *heart emoji face* <3 They also have this in a black and white version. I was lucky enough to find it on the day with free next day delivery too~ ^.^

This dress is awesome for formal parities and occasions such as weddings/prom. The blush is innocent, while the lace panels add a touch of elegance. I paired this dress with black heels, as I felt white would disrupted the overall colour balance. I love that it accentuates the waist line, as it makes the look even more sweet and feminine.

Have you been to an event recently? If so, share your look with me below~ I would love to see it! ^__^
