KPop Fashion - TTS Adrenaline Tartan Outfit

Tartan is so on trend for 2014 - I keep seeing it everywhere! Especially in the music scene. The outfits that caught my eye the most are from TTS's Adrenaline performance. I love their outfits! - its edgy yet elegant. I love the contrast of black and red and how they paired a sheer chiffon blouse with tartan. Loads of interesting textures + patterns. My favourite outfit is probably Tiffany's, although I am more likely to wear Taeyeon's. >w< I shall do some inspired kpop fashion posts soon, when I have time. ^_^ Its been a while since i've done one.

You can watch the performance here~

What trend/outfit have you been liking this month? ^__^

Rohto Hada Labo Gokujyun Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturising Liquid Makeup Remover Review

The weather change in the UK is messing up my skin badly! >.< First a acne party, now dry skin. .__. I opted for Hada Labo's makeup remover as I keep seeing Jun Ji Hyun's Hada Labo commercials (so why not xD) and because it contains Super Hyaluronic Acid. SHA "hydrates and nourishes the skin for smooth, radiant and crystal-clear skin. it creates a moisture locking shield to help preserve skin's optimum moisture balance" - http://www.hadalabo.com

This makeup remover is a cleansing liquid; Hada Labo also does a cleansing oil which is in a yellow bottle. The makeup remover is a water based, so it is mineral oils free. Its also does not contain colorants, alcohol or fragrances. So its great for those with sensitive skin. It has a runny gel consistency. The product is a transparent colour, not blue. It just has a blue bottle ^^

Its easy to use; you simply dispense 1-2 pumps onto your hands, then apply it onto a dry face and massage your face to melt and remove your make up. Then wash of the makeup remover with water and repeat it again. You will need to wash your face at least twice to remove all traces of makeup. Once will not be enough (as shown in the photos below). I think this is due to the gentle nature of the makeup remover.

It does remove makeup effectively, however I find that it doesn't remover mascara very well. Its gentle and does not leave my skin feeling dry. In fact it does feel slightly more hydrated. I like that it doesn't leave my face feeling greasy afterwards too. It didn't irritate my acne or cause further breakouts which is great!

Pros:

  • Does not contain minerals oils, colorants, alcohol or fragrances
  • Easy to use
  • Hygienic packaging
  • Gentle
  • Great amount of product, will last for 3 months or more
  • Didn't cause further breakouts
  • Does not leave skin feeling dry afterwards

Cons:

  • Can be expensive if you purchase this outside of Japan. On Amazon UK, this was sold for £25!
  • Does not remove mascara very well
  • Requires double cleansing

Rating: 7/10

Would I repurchase?

Maybe, the makeup remover isn't the best. It does remove majority of my makeup, its gentle and retains the moisture in my skin. However my makeup is usually quite heavy since I build up my foundation or BB cream to hide my acne and scars, so it takes longer for me to fully remove everything. >.<

Would I recommend it?

If you don't mind double cleansing, I think this is great for those that wear light make and have sensitive skin~ ^^

Have you tried any Hada Labo products? ^^

Mizon Trouble Clinic Acence Blemish Out Pink Spot 30ml Review

I purchased this along with the Snail Recovery Cream a while ago, back when I was recovering from a breakout. I rediscovered this product again, since my face decided to have a massive breakout right before school starts. When I say massive, I literally mean it. Yayy my face is having an acne party again ~sigh~ ;c

Now you may be confused as to what this product does by it's name. It's a liquid and powder spot treatment that helps to clear spots by reducing redness and swelling. The yellow liquid helps to kill bacteria, whilst the pink powder reliefs redness and reduces the swelling.

The first thing you will notice when you open the bottle, is the smell. It has a strong herbal smell, it will fade away. I personally like it. ^^ To use the product, you simply dip a Q-tip straight into the bottle and then pull it out. The bottle is designed well for that purpose; the opening is small, but big enough to let a Q-tip pass through. Make sure that the bottle has not been shaken, the layers need to be separate because the yellow liquid first disinfects the Q-tip and wets the Q-tip so that the pink powder can grab onto it. If however the bottle was shaken (like mine, when it arrived through the post .__.), just place the bottle somewhere still and let the powder to settle. It does take some time.

This is what the Q-tip will look like~

It is recommend to use this at night, and then wash it off when you wake up. I use this during daytime as well; on days that I go out and sometimes after school. This product helps to dry up small spots in 4-5 days. However if you have some big spots like me >.< it does requires extra days~

This product really does help my acne heal a lot faster; without it, mine can take up to 2/3 weeks before its gone. So this is one of my holy grail products.

Pros:

  • Reduces redness
  • Reduces swelling of spots
  • Helps spots heal faster
  • Affordable

Cons:

  • Can take a while for powder to settle, if bottle is shaken

Rating: 9/10

Would I repurchase?

Yes! As mentioned above, it is one of my holy grail products~ ^__^

Would I recommend it?

Definitely! It does help spots heal faster. Really great for sudden breakouts. >.<

Do you have an holy grail products that help to clear acne? Share them with me in me comments! :DDD

Sasatinnie Mini Heart-Shaped Nail Polish Swatches and Review | Sasa Hong Kong

Sasatinnnie is a cosmetics and skincare line by Sasa. I can't remember the price of these nail polishes since I brought them when I was in Hong Kong, it something like 2 for $10. Like most Asian nail polishes these nail polishes don't have names. The heart shaped packaging of the nail polishes is very cute and unique. The cuteness triggered my urge to purchase them! >.< The downside of the packaging however, is that once you use the nail polish pass half way of the bottle, its quite difficult to reach the remaining nail polish.

Sasa Mini Nail Polish SPN150:

A nudy pale orange colour. The formula is very smooth and applies nicely. The polish dries quickly. However it is very sheer. It took me 3 coats to achieve an opaque colour, even still the nail peeks through the polish a little. Since there is little amount of nail polish, this will finish up within 2 to 3 uses, since you need to apply 3 coats for a solid colour. It has a nice jelly shine finish. It lasted for around 1 without topcoat.

Rating: 4/10
Would I Repurchase?

No - I do love the colour but I don't have patience to build up so many coats every time. Also since the bottle is so small, it will finish up quickly.

Sasa Mini Nail Polish SGL503:

A glitter nail polish - transparent coral pink polish with gold iridescent glitter. The formula was smooth and applied nicely even with the glitters. I like how this polish has loads of glitters, it has more glitters than other polishes I own. 1 coat is enough for the prettiness of the glitter to show, but I applied 2 just so its more opaque and has more glitters! It has a slight rough finish due to the glitters, the finish of the polish is slightly matte. This one lasted 3 days before it started chipping. The con with this polish, is that after a while the consistency becomes thicker and hard to work with.

Rating: 6.5/10
Would I Repurchase?

Yep - the colour is very pretty and it has loads of glitters!

Sasa Mini Nail Polish SPN106:

A pinky purple colour. This colour was the most opaque out of the 4 shades I own; 1 coat was even for the full opacity. This will properly last for a good 5-7 use. Once again the formula was smooth. The finish is like a standard nail polish with shine and lasted for a week without top coat.

Rating: 7.5/10
Would I Repurchase?

Yes - it has the highest quality out of all 4, smooth formula and pigmented.

Sasa Mini Nail Polish SPR220:

A aqua blue colour, with blue iridescent shimmer. The formula of this is one is the most sheer out of the 4; it took me 4 coats to achieve an opaque colour, the nail does peeks through the polish a little. It has beautiful finish, you can see the blue iridescent shimmers sparkle and it has a nice shine. This one also lasted for one week without topcoat.

Rating: 4.5/10
Would I Repurchase?

No - beautiful finish however I definitely don't have the patience for 4 coats!

Overall pros and cons

Pros:

  • Great range of colour
  • Very inexpensive
  • Great for those that don't use up full sized nail polishes
  • Smooth formula
  • Dries quickly
  • Most colour lasts for a decent amount of time without top coat
  • A cute decoration for your desk

Cons:

  • A lot of the colours are sheer
  • The opacity of the polishes are not consistent throughout the range
  • Finishes within 2-5 usage

Which colour out of the 4 do you like the most? ^_^

KPop Diet #9: 2YOON 24/7 Diet

A healthy and not extreme KPop diet I have found. ^_^
However theres not much information on it. >.<

Gayoon lost 8kg (17.6 lbs) during the 2YOON promotions. The diet they were on, was done alongside exercising. She stated that "If you dance '24/7' just two times, you start sweating a lot."

Lunch: Sweet potatoes and boil chicken breast everyday

Exercise: 24/7 dance routine twice or more and aerobic exercises

Here is a video of the live performance, so you can see the 24/7 choreography

Do You Have Ideal KPop Leg Measurements? (SNSD)

I've always wanted slimmer legs. >.< I came across SNSD's Jessica and Tiffany's leg workout routine which they did on StarKing back in 2010. So i'm super late!

Tiffany's trainer mentions "ideal leg measurements" which is 5-3-2 (50's-30's-20).

► To find measure your legs:

  • Measure the thickest part of your thigh (5)
  • Measure the thicket part of your calves (3)
  • Measure the smallest part of your ankle (2)

If you want slimmer legs, you could try out Tiffany's 532 Leg workout. Demonstrated in this video.

But just for fun, do you have ideal kpop leg measures? ^__^

Of course your height plays a role too, so don't be too harsh on yourself! Everyone has different body types, thus different leg proportions. People with shorter legs, will likely be less then 5-3-2.

My measurement is: 53-34-19
Height: 163cm / 5"3

My ankle is close~ Tell me in the comments below what your measurements are? ^__^
