When Non-Asian People Say Ni Hao/你好 To Me...



I'm so glad that more people are openly talking about the racism they receive and are not brushing it off like nothing. It's 2016 (nearly 2017 dammit!!!), this shouldn't be happening anymore with how far everything has come. We're suppose to be living in a diverse culture/environment and yet some people still can't appreciate others' backgrounds. In this video, I talk about how people shout Ni Hao (konnichawa etc) on the streets to me. As I wan't know to know/understand why people feel the need to do it. I tried to talk about this in the nicest way possible (and not be savage) as I don't want to spread negative. I've received supportive feedback on this so i'm planning to expand and touch more on the topic in the future! ^^

I've always wanted red lenses (probably should have reviewed this during Halloween eh) so I picked up the ICK Garnet Red Lens from Lens Village. I've stopped wearing circle lenses the last few years due to laziness, so my last circle lens review was all the back in 2013! Enough rambling, let's get started~


► Lens Care & Info: 

If you've never worn lenses before I highly recommend you to this read this guide! ^^ *Always soak your lenses in solution for at least overnight before wearing them. Each lens purchase comes with a free cute animal case as well.


► Colour & Pattern: 4.5/5

I love patterns like this because all the different tones blend nicely with your natural eye colour whether it's dark or light. Even though it's red, they look so natural! I could wear these everyday #RedEyesDontCare. I imagine real life vampires eyes would probably look like these lenses l0l. 

► Enlargement: 5/5

Noticeable enlargement effect. 15mm - they are big lenses but because of the soft limbal ring it doesn't give you that unnatural doll eye effect.

► Comfort: 5/5

Thin and soft lenses, I didn't experience any discomfort or dryness yay~ My eyes are normally very dry and I have to use eye drops but these lasted me a good 8 hours (without eye drops) before I took them out to sleep. 



► Overall: 

I adore these lenses! They're comfy, super pretty, long wear and also like I said before I could wear these everyday. But if you're looking for red lenses for cosplay purposes these may not be for you as they are natural looking so you might want to opt out for a more vibrant one.

黑白 | Cold Shoulder Outfit







Cold shoulder outfit for the cold weather~ I'm adoring this top I got back in New Town Plaza, Mongkok. It appears like your typical black cold shoulder top at the front but the second you turn around, it has a super adorable cute bow detailing. I #Instapurchased this the second I saw it!!! I styled it with high waisted white shorts from YesStyle (I really don't recommend the shorts from YesStyle as the material is sheer and bad quality. On the search for another pair of white shorts eh), to keep this look simple and clean. I just love how effortlessly chic this outfit is~ Denim shorts instead of white would of been super cute too. ^.^

Bubble Bubble Bubble Pop | Hyuna KPop Inspired Denim Outfit







Taking it back to 2011 because this outfit remind's of me Hyuna's Bubble Pop era; I did a KPop inspired outfit subconsciously l0l.

Bringing summer vibes into November because I cannn and am still in denial that winter is coming. Damn I despite the cold season. Take me back to Australia please! Athletic style is my forever go to casual wear. I admire bloggers that have a dressed up causal style because i'm just lazy and go for comfort. Anyway, I saw this fishnet crop top from Top Shop and thought it would be a really fun piece to style. I wore another crop top under because i'm not really a exposy person and it's brings some colour to the over all outfit. Pulled everything together with my YesStyle denim jacket, which has really cool patches and gives this outfit some fun and quirky vibes~ Before anyone asks, nuu I didn't put the patches on myself. Would be cool if I did though, customised items are literally the cutest.

ZAFUL Haul and Review


Getting rid of the Monday blues with a few cute items I picked up from Zaful~ 

Pink & White Striped Off The Shoulder Romper

This is my current favourite romper! How cute is this? It makes you looks dressed up effortlessly. It actually comes with a white belt as well but i'm a egghead and forgot about it eh. The only downside about the romper, is that the fabric is slightly sheer. So I recommend you to wear white undies or wear safety shorts under. I like to wear a white safety short under, because even-though the flare of the romper is stylist it's quite wide. Avoiding that flash!



Halter Color Block Crop Top

You may have seen this top featured in my TOMMYxGIGI outfit or on iamkareno because she also has this top! :D The halter top is a ribbed knit material, so it's good quality~ Find a warm jacket to pair this with and you can wear in Autumn as well ^.<


Velvet Choker Necklace - Black 

Seen me wear chokers in my posts or selfies a lot more recently? It's because I grabbed 3 from Zaful! The first one I got is your classic velvet choker. I like to pair it with a black lace pattern choker for a more sultrily look and because it completely changes your outfit game. Chokers is basically the void your outfit needs!


Velvet Choker Necklace - White

My bio does warn people I change my hair colour a lot, so yes my hair is lilac in the next 2 photos. I also got the velvet chocker in white. Zaful now has it red as well, ahhh i'm super temped to get it!


Cone Rivet Wrap Necklace

My favourite choker out the 3~ it's a long suede piece that you wrap and tie up like a shoe lace for a cute ribbon bow. It has little silver spike details too. My course-mates were like "you look like a Tumblr girl now" lolol. This one is available in white, black and brown. I really liked the brown one, but white matches with everything so here we are with white~ :')


That's it for the items I got~ Quick overall review of the store - the quality of the items are a mix and not consistent, for example my romper was sheer. I would say most of the items are good, but you do have that risk. The pricing is affordable so you can keep up with the latest trends without breaking the bank. Shipping was okay and arrived to the UK in 2 weeks.

I came back from Australia to find a super cute and generous surprise package from the owner of Sampure Minerals (Ada Saffell)! Thank you so so much~ <3 Literally screaming (ahhh) because I fell in love with their mineral foundation back in 2013 and it did wonders for my acne prone skin. Can't wait to share the items I received with you guys~


The packaging of the products is sleek and presents the quality of the brand well. The thing I love about Sampure Mineral, is that their products are vegetarian (approved by the vegetarian society), cruelty free and are halal.
