REISEN HOUSE | Lollipop Bliss Blue Circle Lens Review

My blogging schedule completely flew out the window during exam season (when does it not? but it has been extremely terrible this year ><). I am a free child again so I shall try to not be a lazy bum and get things back running in full swing! Empathise on the *try* because I got a new job yasss~ Anyway, my friend Ginny has started her own blog as well as a circle lens store - REISEN HOUSE! She was super lovely to send me a pair to review so here we are reviewing the Lollipop's Bliss Lens in Blue~

► Shipping:

How cute is everything? The lenses came with a kit that includes a mirror case, contact lens case, lens tweezer and a stick with sucker. I love that it came with extras, as circle lens stores usually give you a contact case only. Reisen House is based in the UK, so the shipping was quick and arrived in 3/4 days.

► Lens Care & Info:

For first time users or just for quick refresh, this Wear and Care Guide includes everything you need from how to open circle lenses bottle to inserting the lens into your eye. *As always soak your lenses in solution for at least overnight before wearing them.

► Colour & Pattern: 3/5

A simple one tone rim design; it blends in nicely with dark brown eyes. The results actually appear very natural, adds a lovely subtle hint of colour. My course mate couldn't pinpoint what changed about my appearance hehe. The colour does change in different lighting, sometimes it can appear grey. If you can't decide between Bliss Blue or Bliss Grey then I suggest going for Bliss Blue. You get the best of both worlds, I mean they look pretty similar right?

► Enlargement: NA/5

The lenses do not have any enlargement effect, as they are the standard iris diameter so I can't rate it.

► Comfort: 3.5/5

The first time I wore the lenses it was uncomfortable and I had to take them out. Probably mainly my fault as I didn't soak them overnight *I do the life lessons so you don't have to and I can give you tips ^.<*. First time experiencing discomfort though. After leaving it in solution for a few days, its felt so much better! Couldn't feel them in my eye and there was no irritation like the first time. I managed to wear them for around 8 hours. It didn't try out my eyes even when I worked on the computer all day.

► Overall:

These lenses are something completely different for me. It's nice to try out Thai lenses, as I usually go for Korean or Japanese ones. The design is nice for everyday wear as its very subtle, something I might swear everyday if it had prescription (i'm blind af without prescription or glasses). The comfort was okay in the end. The packaging and service was good~

I also liked the variety of lenses that Reisen House offers, most of the lenses stocked are completely new to me. So if you don't want to be a basic and get mainstream lenses you can check them out ^.<. Shipping is really quick if you live in the UK too.

GEO Magic Brown Circle Lens Review | Pinky Paradise

Shhhh i'm revealing the secret as to why I've have been looking slightly different in my selfies recently~ ^.< I've been wearing the Geo Magic circle lenses! These lenses are for my lovelies that prefer something natural, the lenses are so subtle to the point people can't even tell that you're wearing them.

► Lens Care & Info:

► Colour & Pattern: 3/5

A simple and minimal pattern design, nothing special. The colour doesn't lighten your eyes, it's just blends in seamlessly with dark brown eyes. They blend in really well, so its hard for people to tell that you're actually wearing lenses. The colour remains the same in different lighting. The lenses also come in black, so if you wanted the limbal ring to be more noticeable and to darken your eyes slightly then you may prefer the black ones over brown.

► Enlargement: 3.5/5

The lenses have diameter of 14.2mm. Gives a very subtle enlargement to the eyes which I think is perfect for natural enhancement. But if you're looking for lenses that will noticeably enlarge your eyes, these don't provide it. You know them beauty app that enlarge your eyes slightly? These lenses basically give you the real life photoshop effect. No need to use that app feature anymore eh?

► Comfort: 5/5

I have worn these for 10+ hours because I forgot that I was wearing them. They're that comfortable. *Not recommended to wear them for that long.* The lenses are thin, no discomfort or dryness experienced. I was quite concerned it would dry out my eyes as the water content is slightly lower compared to ones I normally wear, thankfully these still wore out great!

► Overall:

For someone thats not fond of super natural lenses (because I want people to be able to notice that i'm wearing lenses yo), I really like them! These are definitely everyday lenses, that subtly enlarges your eyes. Great for first time buyers. Not recommended for cosplay purposes for obvious reasons.

► Colour & Pattern: 3.5/5

From the lens pattern, I did expect the lenses to be a lighter blue. They come out a medium blue on my dark brown eyes. A nice subtle colour to enhance your eyes and you get a pretty blue ring around your iris from the whites of your eyes peaking through. In darker lighting the grey tones are more obvious making it appear like grey lenses. Printscreen below from my most recent Youtube video to show you guys the greyish tones.

► Enlargement: 3/5

The lenses are 15mm and have an effect diameter of 16.2mm. The enlargement is noticeable however it doesn't have that 16.2mm effect, I could easily tell these are 15mm. Probably because it has a natural libal ring and not a solid black one.

► Comfort: 4.5/5

I wore these for 10-11 hours, towards the last 2 hours it did start to feel a bit dry so I needed to take them out (but it's not recommend to wear them more than 6-8 hours anyway ^.<). So these did pretty good! Didn't experience any irritation/discomfort beside that drying towards the end.

► Overall:

I did expect the colour to be lighter but nevertheless I still like these lenses and have been wearing them quite often. These are the most natural circle lenses I currently own~ The subtle colour makes your eyes really pretty and I actually like that it sometimes appear grey in certain lighting. And kudos for the super long wear even though they're not mean to be worn for that long!

I hope everyone had lovely Thanks Giving and Black Friday! I've always wanted red lenses (probably should have reviewed this during Halloween eh) so I picked up the ICK Garnet Red Lens from Lens Village. I've stopped wearing circle lenses the last few years due to laziness, so my last circle lens review was all the back in 2013! Enough rambling, let's get started~

► Lens Care & Info:

► Colour & Pattern: 4.5/5

I love patterns like this because all the different tones blend nicely with your natural eye colour whether it's dark or light. Even though it's red, they look so natural! I could wear these everyday #RedEyesDontCare. I imagine real life vampires eyes would probably look like these lenses l0l.

► Enlargement: 5/5

Noticeable enlargement effect. 15mm - they are big lenses but because of the soft limbal ring it doesn't give you that unnatural doll eye effect.

► Comfort: 5/5

Thin and soft lenses, I didn't experience any discomfort or dryness yay~ My eyes are normally very dry and I have to use eye drops but these lasted me a good 8 hours (without eye drops) before I took them out to sleep.

► Overall:

I adore these lenses! They're comfy, super pretty, long wear and also like I said before I could wear these everyday. But if you're looking for red lenses for cosplay purposes these may not be for you as they are natural looking so you might want to opt out for a more vibrant one.

EOS G307 Gothic 3 Tone Green Review - Lens Village

From my previous post, I mentioned the Gothic 3 Tone Green circle lenses so here is the review! I'm going to keep over the general information, if you'd like to know more then you read my EOS Gothic 3 Tone Honey Review.

EOS - Retails for $22.50 (£14.11) - Available in 9 colours - 1 Year life span - 14.5 diameter.

These lenses will blend nicely in with your natural eye colour. However colour wise, I would say they only give your eyes like a "tint" of colour. Whether indoors or outdoors, the lenses will NOT look green lol (They will only show up green in flash). They give your eyes like a mysterious vibe/colour, since the green doesn't show up much. I would say its more of a grey tone green or Hazel. People will notice there's something different about your eyes, but majority of the time they wont notice you're wearing lenses unless they're close up. So these lenses are really natural, but maybe a bit too natural? xDD. If you're after a pop of colour, these lenses would not be recommend for you. As you can see in the photos - in the selfies, since the eyes are in distance to the camera you cant really see them at all. But in the close up of the eyes, you can see them. I do like the mysterious vibe it gives to your eyes but I would like them more if the green was more vibrant. So what do you think of these lenses? Do you like the natural-ness (is that even a word lol) or would you prefer them to be more bright?

Princess Mimi Tsubasa Masuwaka Bambi Series Sesame Grey Circle Lens Review - CandyLens.com

Recently I've been away and posting too much KPop posts hahah so i'm back to reviewing circle lenses~ ^_^

This are the Princess Mimi Sesame Grey Circle Lens by Tsubasa Masuwaka. They are also available in Chocolate Brown and Apple Green and retail for $23.90 (£15.57). These are the second pair of circle lenses I have ever brought and its my favourite. ^_^ I did purchase these online from CandyLens.com and was very happy with their service so I do recommend them. As you can see in the picture above their packaging definitely has to be the kawaii-est!

The lenses are super vibrant! You can see the colour even in dim lighting. During day light, the lenses do make your eyes pop! Trust me, whenever you wear them people will complement your eyes without fail like. Not only that, but they show up really nicely in photos too, regardless of the lighting and quality of the camera.

My favourite factor of the lenses, is that it has a diameter of 15mm. So they will give off a dolly like effect and is perfect for those that love enlargements. Anyone that prefers natural lenses, these would not be recommend for you. (Try lenses like the EOS gothic series ^^)

If you do read my blog, you would that I wear lenses for more than 8hours haha. These don't dry up my eyes or feel uncomfortable even after 8hours+ of wear. They are very thin so it feels like my eyes can breathhhh~. I have never found any problems with these lenses and I LOVE THEM TO BITS! So I would really recommend them! ^_^ I would love to purchase the other two colour when I get more money LOL. xDD

The first selfie, was taken (on a mac webcam) against the sunlight, so the lighting was dim. But they still manage to give a pop to your eyes and show up.

This selfie is taken outdoors with natural sunlight. ( didn't take any decent photos outside that day LOL, so say hi to my friend Leo!). The colour is more vibrant in brighter lighting.

I know this post may seem a bit biased, but I really do love these lenses and I think they would NEVER fail to impress anyone that purchases it. *note - its not sponsored lol. They are designed and worn by Tsubasa Masuwaka so these are really popular among gyarus and those into Japanese beauty. ^_^

Circle Lenses: Gothic 3 Tones VS Puffy 3 Tone Series

When it comes to natural looking circles lenses (natural yet noticeable and "vibrant") or 3 tone circle lenses in general, the Puffy 3 Tone series and the Gothic 3 Tones series are bound to be one of the most if not the most popular choice. Yes there is also the Natural 3 Tone series, but since I haven't tried them I cant really say much about them. xDD So in this post I am going to compare them and see which is the better one.

General Information:

The Puffy 3 Tone is by Dueba retailing for $19.50. (£12.23) where as the Gothic 3 Tone is by EOS retailing for $22.50 (£14.11). So price wise the Puffy wins, but the quality is what you're paying for, so don't decide which one is better by the price yet. XDD

Size:

They both have a 14.5 diameter; so you cant really compare something that has exactly the size feature right?ahah. Anyway if you want lenses that make your eyes look extremely or just big in general non of these would be ideal for you

Colour Opacity & Range:

I personally feel that the Puffy is more vibrant than the Gothic series. The Puffy 3 Tone Green show up more on my eyes than the Gothic 3 Tone Green ones do, if I tried other colours the results might be the opposite, but I doubt it since the Puffy 3 Tone Pink and Grey is more vibrant as well. So if you prefer your lenses to be more noticeable than the Puffy would be more ideal.

When it comes to colour range, the Puffy offers 6 colours and the Gothic offers 9. So the Gothic has a wider range. But the colours they offer are quite different, the Puffy has a pink where as the Gothic doesn't. the Gothic has Hazel and the Puffy doesn't. The win win factor for the Gothic series, is that it has lights and darks e.g light brown (Honey) and a standard brown (Brown), standard blue (Blue) and a darker one (Sapphire) etc. So the Gothic series wins for the colour range, also the colours are much more natural.

Blending with Eyes:

However, since the Puffy slightly more vibrant, its doesn't blend in with your eyes as well as the Gothic series do. So the series that blend with the eyes more, the Gothic wins.

Comfort:

Like wise with all circle lenses in general, it's recommended that you don't wear them for more than 8 hours. *But I, Michelle never or barely sticks to the recommendations. So I do wear them for longer. They are both comfortable and they will last 8 hours or longer. Also they are ultra thing so it lets the eyes breath/get oxygen more I think? LOL or maybe i'm just chatting poo poo hahaha. But I do feel that the Puffy doesn't last as long as the Gothic, as id does slightly dry my eyes after 9 hours, not literally dry it but I can just feel its not as hydrated. So comfort wise, the Gothic wins as the hydration of the lenses last longer.

Overall:

They are both very similar and have their different win factors but overall I would pick the winner as the Gothic series because I prefer the colour range much more and I can wear them longer without any problems. Thats why I said earlier don't decide which lenses are better by the price yet. xDD Another reason is that the Gothic series is more natural than the Puffy. Whenever I wear a Puffy series lens, my friends can immediately tell i'm wearing circle lenses. Where as when im wear the Gothic series lens, my friends ask has your eye colour changed? So the Gothic series is obviously the win win here. ^_^ Don't get me wrong though, I do like POW in your face lenses as well, but we are talking about natural / 3 Tone lenses here. xDDD

EOS G307 Gothic 3 Tone Honey Review - LensVillage.com

Recently I have brought 2 new circle lenses. I have got the Gothic 3 Tone in Honey and Green, from LensVillage.com. So today, I'll be reviewing the Honey shade. I'll get around to the Green one in another post, as I haven't taken the pictures yet.

The Gothic 3 Tone series normally retails for $22.50 (£14.11) but I got them during the Midterm sale for $13 (£8.73). Gotta LOVE SALES! One problem I had with the Gothic 3 Tone series is that theres a wide range of colours to pick from (9 colours) which is amazing but a nightmare if you're indecisive like me!

Starting on the lens review: When I first took them out of the little glass jar they come in, I was kind of disappointed because the lenses looked orange rather than a light brown/honey colour. (You can see the orangy-ness in the 1st picture below) But once the lenses are on your eyes, they blend in very nicely with your eye colour, giving it a natural look and you cant see the orange anymore. Which is good. =3 I really love how natural the Gothic 3 Tone lens series look, the lenses are vibrant yet natural looking. ^_^ One thing I have noticed with the colours is that a some of the colours do look very similar once they are worn. For example "Honey" is only slightly slightly lighter than "Brown" and is very similar. "Blue" and "Sapphire" are also very similar.

The lenses have a diameter of 14.5m so they do enlarge the eyes a little. Which is perfectttt! It is recommend that you wear circle lenses no longer than 8 hours but I wear them for longer. 8 hours isn't enough for meee! Anyway they don't dry up my eyes or cause any problems even after 8 hours+ of wear and they are very comfortable. The lenses have a lifespan of 1 year so for the price, its inexpensive and affordable.

These have now become one of my favourite and go to lenses so I do recommend the Gothic 3 Tone "Honey" if you want a natural noticeable change. Only downside and same with most circle lenses is that you need to wear make up with it to balance it out. If you wear make up everyday it's no biggie.

A little disappointment with the order, as I asked for a purple case but they gave me a blue. I don't know if purple was out of stock or if they got the order mixed up.
