LUSH Sex Bomb Ballistic Bath Bomb Review

You know what happiness is? Coming home after a hard-working or tiring day to some lovely lush relaxation! My waifu brought me this simply because of the name haha. #immature xDD

Sex Bomb is one of Lush's most popular bath bombs, its supposed to relax you giving you some sensual healing so you "feel in the mood"... It contains jasmine, ylang ylang and clary sage, which helps to clear your mind and soothe your worries. It also contains soya milk which has soothing conditioning benefits to heal your skin.

The bath bomb beings to fizzle the second you drop it into the water. I found that Sex Bomb fizzled more gentle and dissolved slower than Big Blue. The water turns into a cute milky pink colour; the highlight of this bomb is when the flower releases, expands and then floats around - a nice touch and pretty sight. After a while the petals get soggy, they didn't dissolve so I ended up mashing them up between my fingers.

The scent was not as strong as Big Blue; it was very subtle - hints of jasmine floral aroma. I would describe the scent as pretty and feminine rather than sexy and sensual. I just don't think the name suits the ballistic at all - Jasmine Delight maybe? (I'm terrible at giving names so actually I can't say anything lol) It felt gentle and innocent to me. xD It does smell lovely though! :')

After my experience, I found my skin to be soft and hydrated. Cleared up my thoughts pretty well too, I felt focused to do my revision (and also like a little fairy - as weird as that sounds xD). As for the scent, it does linger however since its quite subtle, its not that noticeable.

Pros:

  • Turns water into a cute milky pink
  • Soft and hydrated skin after use
  • Lovely scent
  • Romantic flower touch

Cons:

  • Scent a bit too subtle? Would prefer it to be stronger ^^

Rating: 7/10

Overall:

It's a wonderful treat and great for special occasions, not an essential though. I would recommend this for those that love subtle scents and florals, especially jasmine. I personally prefer stronger scents so I would opt out for a different ballistic. ^^

What kind of scents do you like? :') Tell me in the comment section below~ ^.^
Have a great day <3

Blushing~ 🌸 / Boohoo Dress

This is the full look I posted on Instagram yesterday~ I wore this dress to my friend Erika's 18th debut; the colour theme for girls was blush or cream. I originally had a black and white one as I did not read the invitation clearly, so I had to quickly do some last minute shopping. I am ridiculously picky when picking clothes! Nothing in stores or online sites I usually shop on appealed to me. I decided to give Boohoo a try and found this gorgeous blush lace panel dress *heart emoji face* <3 They also have this in a black and white version. I was lucky enough to find it on the day with free next day delivery too~ ^.^

This dress is awesome for formal parities and occasions such as weddings/prom. The blush is innocent, while the lace panels add a touch of elegance. I paired this dress with black heels, as I felt white would disrupted the overall colour balance. I love that it accentuates the waist line, as it makes the look even more sweet and feminine.

Have you been to an event recently? If so, share your look with me below~ I would love to see it! ^__^

LUSH Oxford Street Haul

It's been a jam packed week; full of travelling from London to Lancaster (basically from the bottom of England to the top for those that are not quite familiar with the UK ^^). A super quick haul of some Lush goodies I purchased during my visit in London. I travel to London frequently however this is the first time visiting the Oxford Street store, so ofc I had to pick up some Oxford Street exclusives! I mainly picked up bath bombs as it was last minute shopping, the store was huge and had many demonstrations going on. Not to mention the packaging is more artsy and nicer~

From left to right:
  • Yoga Bomb Bath Bomb x2 (orange)
  • Intergalactic Bath Bomb (bright blue)
  • Tisty Tosty Bath Bomb (white heart shaped)
  • Frozen Bath Bomb (light blue) Yes this bath was inspired by the Disney movie Frozen. Let it go~
  • Guardian of the Forest Bath Bomb (green)
  • Karma Bubble Bar (purple) I thought this was bomb oops, well something new to try ^__^

All the products except Tisty Tosty are Oxford Street exclusive, cannot wait to try these babies out! ^.^ Inb4 they're not all for myself, I picked up 2 for my waifu~ ^^

Which lush product(s) would you like to try out the most and why? Let me know in the comments! I want to host a giveaway for the most popular product(s), especially for readers overseas so that you guys get to try them too! ^__^

Spicy Korean Fire Noodle Challenge (불닭볶음면)

Amazon £9.74 for 5 packs (Gift* Thank you Alex~ ^^)
If you're in America, they're available at Kmart too.

I finally did the Fire Noodle Challenge yesterday - you can watch my take on the challenge near the end of this post or by clicking here. ^^

Koreans are known for their love for spicy food. These noodles have taken a craze burning tongues in Korea and overseas, from Singapore to England. Samyang's Buldak Bokkeum Myeon, said to be Korea's rank 3rd spiciest instant noodles! Challenged by friend Alex, I gathered my courage to take on this challenge.

Mini cooking tutorial. xDD To prepare the noodles, first cook or boil the noodles until soft. Then drain the water and left the noodle dry. The noodles are slighter thicker than regular ones.

Add the hot sauce and mix it until its saturated throughout the noodles. Top it off with the seasonings to finish.

LOOK HOW FRIERY RED THE NOODLES ARE! Waaaa~

My reaction to the fire noodles:

At first I was expecting the noodles to be much more spicy, I was doubting this until 3 seconds later the burns kicks in. The more you ate, the more the burning accelerated. I felt like I could spit fire, it was that hot! I usually take my spices well too, this is a next level! Its that hot, it stingles and plumps your lips. No need to spend your money on lip plumper or do the Kylie Jenner Challenge when you could just eat these badboys. ^.< Some of friends ended up drinking a gallon of drink, while some others adore this with Mozzarella cheese and egg on top. I might give that a try. :')

I ate these noodles on a empty stomach and OH BOY that was not a wise decision, my stomach was feeling weird the whole day and next after. I shall also mention it messes up your barrel lolol, it smells. >< Two of my friends said their bum was burning too hahaha, I will stop here before I get into too much info.

Have you taken on this challenge yet? How was it? ^.^
If not, IM NOMINATING YOU RIGHT NOW! ^.<
