Do You Like Messi? #MessiChallenge | Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo

Just a little study break and because I love the Korean Drama Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo (역도요정 김복주) so much, I decided to do the Messi Challenge and see if it works~ The Messi Challenge was all over my Twitter feed and Messi was even trending on Philippines's Twitter. Nice work guys! ^.< Story / Drama Scene behide the Messi Challenge:

If you want a more detailed understanding of the story then I recommend you to read AsiaStarz article - Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo’ fans trend ‘Messi’ on Twitter. Or you should just watch the drama ASAP, if you're not already! Some of you may be like wtf and are asking to the same question as Joon Hyung (Nam Joo Hyuk)...

anddd... I think it would be quite funny if Messi ever found out that people were asking their crushes if they like him~ :')

Have you watched Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo? ^^ and of course the main thing I want to know - have you asked your crush if they like Messi yet? xD

Shiseido | Perfect Rouge Lipstick RD304 Sweet Pea Review

Do I really need another lippy? Y.E.S, Well it was actually gifted to me but a girl can never have enough lipsticks aye. ^.< Also this is my first Shiseido cosmetic item and i've got to say i'm quite impressed~

► Packaging

The lipstick comes in a sturdy metal tube, love it! Great for travelling as the packaging won't get scratch and tacky like plastic ones. It's also very sleek and compact. Only down side is that the case has some groves in it, so it need to be lined up before you can click the cap into place.

► Swatch:

Sweat Pea is a lovely rosy red colour. The lipstick is surprisingly pigmented, it goes on sheer at first but you can build it up to full opacity which I really like. Currently my go to lippie for creating a Korean gradient lips look. It has very fine shimmer in it, which is not noticeable when worn on the lips but it gives off a satin like appearance.

The lipstick glides onto the lips like butter, the formula is amazingly smooth and moisturising. It wears for 3-5 hours before I need to touch it up. There's no taste or any scent. It doesn't feather but it does transfer when eating etc, which is expected.

► Overall:

Overall I really like it~ It's very moisturising and comfortable to wear, which is such a nice change from using matte liquid lipsticks everyday. Love how classy the colour is. Definitely a lovely treat, I recommend this and rate it 8/10.

Have you tried any Shiseido products?

FSJ Shoes | Wishlist

I've been discovering more online shoe stores recently and came across FSJ Shoes. What I really like about is FSJ Shoes is that not only is there a range of styles for you to chose from but they also have have a custom shoe service so you can make a request and get the perfect pair shoes made for you. Anyway after browsing through their site, I fell in love with a few pair of shoes and decided to put them into a wish list post, so here we are admiring shoes~

1) Leila Black Wedge Vintage Lace-up

These are my perfect everyday shoes!  I love oxford and brogue shoes as they dress up and pull an outfit together nicely. Especially ones with a platform style since it's more casual, yet while still maintaining that classy edgy vibe. Not to mention it gives me that additional height I lack!

2) Claret Red Lace Chunky High Heel

Love love love these! NEED THEM IN MY LIFE. The lace is everything! They're just so elegant and classy, would be amazing for a dinner date. Haven't seen heels similar to these before, so I really like that they're unique and not basic. ^.<

3) Leila Black Ankle Straps Bow Stiletto Heel

This would not be a fashion blogger's wish list with out a pair of ankle strap heels! I swear every blogger owns a pair ankle strap heels~ I like how these heels are simple and feminine due to the cute bow.

4) Leila Black Chiffon Ankle Buckle Stiletto Boots

This is one for all my edgy girlies! Booties with a combo of a classic ankle strap and T style strap. I think these would look stunning on night out and deffo paired with a little black dress.

Thats it for my shoe wish list! Hope you guys liked it, tell me which pair of shoes is your favourite in the comment section down below~

MAGICAL GALAXY UNICORN OMBRE MAKEUP BRUSHES! Review | Zaful

There has been a massive craze over rainbow and magical cosmetics over the last few months and i've finally got my hands on these super cool and aesthetics af makeup brushes from Zaful! From the colour scheme of these brushes I thought they would of been from Tarte cosmetics but they're surprisingly not! Let's jump right into a quick review of these brushes~

I can't get over how gorgeous these mythical brushes are! THESE BRUSHES ARE EVERYTHING!

The brush bristles are made from from synthetic hair that are amazingly soft and dense, ngl its the softest makeup brushes I own. In case you're wondering I normally use MAC brushes, but i'm not really fond of them as I think the bristles are quite rough. I haven't experience any bristle fall out yet with these yet. The brush handles are my favourite part, it has stunning metallic chrome finish with geometric groves. I love the colour theme, it reminds me more of a magical galaxy rather than unicorn. But if you prefer a classic unicorn theme thats a pastel rainbow bristles with an opalescent twirled unicorn handle, then Zaful also have those available too.

I have the brushes in the 10 piece set. It's also available in a 7 piece set. I decided to get the 10 piece set, since it was only like 2 dollars extra. But do I really need them? Nahhh but they're too gorgeous okay. The set contains 4 large brushes for the face and 6 smaller ones for the eyes and lips. I think it would of been better if it came with a fan brush instead of two blush/power brushes. I absolutely love these brushes and have been using everyday. I do recommend these are the quality is great and well made. Can we mention how amazing the price is as well? If you want check out these brushes I have linked them below~

What do you think of magical or unicorn themed cosmetics? Yay or nay? ^^

Marco Pierre White Steakhouse, Bar & Grill Birmingham | Jess's 21st - Food Diary Review

For my waifu - Jess's 21st birthday we went to Macro Pierre White Steakhouse, Bar & Grill in Birmingham for a cute meal and some cheeky cocktails~ The restaurant is located near the Mailbox in The Cube. The table had to be booked in advanced (note they charge a fee per person), luckily we managed to get one and upgraded to a window seat last minute! Yasss winning~ Anyway lets get started with food, shall we. ^^

► Steakhouse / Food:

For drinks we got one of my absolute all time favourite beverages - Fentman's Rose Lemonade. Can't believe she has never tried it before, it's so good! To be fair, I discovered the it in a pub in Lancaster so what can I say lol. Anyway, it's will not disappoint you! It's refreshing, has wonderful hint of rose that's doesn't overpower the lemonade. It's a great non-alcoholic alternative to champagne or wine.

Jess selected the Sirloin Steak which is served with Homemade French Fries and the Classic Steakhouse Green Salad. With Peppercorn Sauce in addition. For a British steak it was okay, could do with some seasoning.

I went for the Wheeler's Fish Curry with Mango and Coriander as I thought the combination of flavour would be interesting. Which surprisingly, the mango works in harmony with the sauce. The curry had to two types of fish - salmon and haddock, as well as tiger prawns in it. A nice variety of ingredients for different textures. The curry sauce is mild and creamy so it doesn't overpower the flavour of the fish or mango. Served with buttered rice on the side, which I wasn't particularly fond of. The rice was hard, so it tasted half cooked? Could do some improvements on that. I think herbed rice would of been a nice pairing. The dish was mediocre, i'm not crazy over it and I don't dislike it either.

Marco Pierre White were super cute and gave us a little something extra~ Their service is top notch, the staff were just friendly and warming. A little funny story, I accidentally said Merry Christmas instead of Happy Birthday to Jess, when she was blowing the candle off her birthday cake, RIP me. In Chinese, Merry Christmas (聖誕快樂) and Happy Birthday (生日快樂) are very similar sayings okayyy. P.S Merry Christmas again if you're reading this Jess. ^.< <3

► The Bar:

Finished off the night in the bar area with a couple of cocktails, enjoying the city night view. Even though the food was average, no one can deny how stunning the view is! Instagram worthy af. The cocktails look the same but one is actually a mocktail - Virgin Colada and the other is your typical Pina Colada. Have a guess which one is which. ^.< These were overpriced af but it tasted damn good.

► Overall

Marco Pierre White Steakhouse, Bar & Grill is definitely a spectacular place for enjoying a luxurious atmosphere and experiencing the Birmingham skyline in a 360 degree view. Food wise, it was average and nothing special. It could do better with the fine dining price they charge. I do recommend the bar, if you don't mind splurging on drinks and enjoy a nightclub kind of vibe. At Macro Pierre White, you're paying for the view and experience rather the food/drink itself. Nevertheless, it was still a lovely and memorable occasion.
