Equality Mini Velour Liquid Lipstick Box Set Reveal and Insta Story Swatches 🌈 | JEFFREE STAR COSMETICS

@JeffreeStar
Here she is; Jeffree has finally revealed the shades in her newest mini liquid lipstick set and they do not disappoint! I've got all the info you need and swatches from her Insta, you know i'm quick with the screenshots. ^.<

@JeffreeStarCosmetics

I've seen people worry that the shades may be boring nudes with a pretty rainbow packaging because how of Tarte played us with their Be a Mermaid & Make Waves Eyeshadow Palette. Urghhh the palette had so much more potential! Anyway back to Jeffree, she came through slaying with each colour of the rainbow.

The 8 shades in the set include:

💖 - Diva.
❤️ - Redrum
🧡 - Flamethrower
💛 - Queen Bee. *Jeffree mentioned in her story, Queen Bee was an limited edition shade from the Summer 2017 Collection and it has been reformulated so that it's less patchy and slightly thicker than the first launch.
💚 - Equality. *Brand new shade!
💙 - Breakfast At Tiffany’s
💙 - Blue Velvet
💜 - I’m Royalty

The Equality set bundle is available June 1st on the Jeffree Star Cosmetics website and retails for $52, same as the rest of the bundles. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Los Angeles LGBT+ centre to help LGBTQ+ youth in need. I though collaborating with the LGBTQ+ Centre was such a sweet idea as it helps towards a cause and it's something that Jeffree is passionate about raising awareness for. Now time for some swatches!

Bold and vibrating colours. Literally to die for! 😍

The Jeffree Star Summer 2018 Collection will also be revealed soon! So far, we know the collection includes the Thirsty Eyeshadow Palette, Liquid Frost Highlighters and 8 brand new shades of velour liquid lipsticks.

Are you excited for any of the new JS products? :)

Bean Body Coffee Scrub - Coconut & Manuka Honey Review | Booths' New Beauty Range

Booths have recently expanded their skincare range so that you can pick up your favourite beauty essentials while grocery shopping. Perfect for saving time and travelling from place to place.

Coffee scrubs are all the hype on Instagram and since Booths had the addition of Mr Bean Body Coffee Scrubs, I just had to try it out! Keep on reading to find out if they're worth the rave!

Bean Body is an Australian brand that believes in affordable premium skin care, all of their products are made with natural, organic ingredients and they're vegan too! I have a lot of skin imperfections - eczeme, psoriasis, stretch marks, you name it, so I am beyond happy to take any help I can get.

The Coffee Scrub claims to provide the following benefits:

  • Caffeine will stimulate blood flow and help reduce the appearance of cellulite, eczema, stretch marks, age spots, varicose veins and psoriasis.
  • Demerara Sugar & Himalayan Salt will exfoliate your skin, removing dead skin, acne, whiteheads, blackheads, breakouts & other skin blemishes.
  • Coconut oil will hydrate & moisturise your skin.
  • Cocoa & Vitamin E are high in antioxidants which nourish & protect the skin, promoting cell repair & rejuvenation.

To use the scrub, you simply take a handful, scrub it in circular motions on damp skin and then leave it on for 5 minutes before rinsing it off. I like to focus the scrub on my problem areas, which are my arms and legs. The coffee grounds are a little coarse which gives you a gritty feeling, personally I like it because it lets me know it's at work and doing a good job exfoliating all the dead skin cells away. The coconut oil coats your skin after all the buffing, hydrating your skin and leaving it feeling super soft and smooth. I find that the more I use it, the less obvious my psoriasis is. I'm super excited to keep using it to see more results. I love this stuff! It makes my skin baby soft and radiating like a glowy goddess ready to slay the day from the caffeine kick.

The Coconut scrub smells so heavenly! Honestly it makes me want to eat it because it smells that good! As for the Manuka Honey scrub it only smells like coffee, there's not really a honey scent to it. As of writing this post now, there are 6 different scents available.

The down side to the scrub is that it can get quite messy but that's the same outcome with all coffee scrubs. You'll need to rinse the shower or bath after using it otherwise there will be coffee grounds everywhere. Also I find that the coffee scrub leaves a brown tint on my body after. I like that it gives me like a mini quick tan but if I wanted the coffee residue to be completely gone, I would need to rinse with shower gel over.

Overall, the scrub is lovely. It smells divine, is gentle and actually works! I think a little coffee residue is worth the smoother, glowy skin. The ingredients are high quality and you can see that in the results. With regular use my skin has got better, I've been struggling with psoriasis my whole life so this scrub has done wonders. I definitely think it's worth the hype and I can see why it's a cult favourite.

For my UK lovelies in North East area, Bean Body Coffee Scrub are now available at Booths.

Have you got round to trying coffee scrubs yet?

What Do You Croque With? | CAFÈ ROUGE, Birmingham. French Croque Monsieur

Cafe Rouge, Mailbox. Birmingham, UK.

Croque Monsieur an iconic French favourite, often baked with cheese and ham. For spring/summer 2018, Café Rouge added a twist to the classic Croque Monsieur to bring out three new exciting flavours. Café Rouge were super lovely and invited me to try out their new Croques, keep reading to find out about the new mouth watering flavours. Which Croque will I Crqoue with?

► Drinks

To start off, I had my all time favourite mocktail - French Garden Fizz. Ever since I tried it from the Cafe Rouge Summer Adventure I can't stop ordering it every time I go there. It's a delightful drink made with elderflower, fresh mint, lemon and lime juice. It's refreshing and the flavours are balanced nicely, the perfect drink for spring and summer. I will always recommend this as my top drink from Café Rouge.

► #WhatTheCroque?

Here it is, the delicious Croque! Made with two pieces of quality sourdough bread, stuffed with succulent meat or vegetable filling, topped with grilled Emmental cheese. Crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. If you're looking for something meaty they have two filling options, smoked salmon with cream cheese and roast chicken with crispy pancetta, baby gem lettuce and sundried tomatoes. For my vegetarians they have portobello mushroom with baby spinach, goat cheese and a drizzle of truffle oil.

Out of the three flavours, I went for the Hot Smoked Salmon! The salmon was beautifully smoked, bursting with flavour. The garlic cream cheese and chive complimented the salmon to create a lovely new croque experience. It's served with a side of French fries and salad, both perfect done. Café Rouge have done an amazing job on these and there's nothing I would change about it. If you're looking to try out something new, give the croques a chance, they taste divine. It is served all day, everyday. I think it's great for brunch to kick start your day off.

► Dessert

To finish off, we had another french classic - Creme Brulee with an almond tuile. Luxurious vanilla creme with a nicely done crisp caramelised sugar top. Indulging, creamy and soft, you can never go wrong with this velvety dessert.

► Overall

The atmosphere of the restaurant and customer service was top notch. We were served by Victor, he was so lovely and friendly. The experience of the restaurant and the quality food is what keeps me going back time and time again. I'm excited to try the mushroom croque next for that truffle oil dizzle (thanks to watching Buzzfeed Worth It too much)!

Which new flavour are you excited to try out?

LOOKBOOK - Colour Block Plunge Bikini | Zaful Swimwear Review

How stunning is the scenery in these pics? These were taken in Malta; such a breathtaking country! I don't really like showing my belly in public (food baby on the way), so a one piece/monokini is perfect for me when visiting beaches. This Zaful swimsuit is minimalistic yet stunning. Even though it covers my belly, the plunge cut still gives off some sexy vibes and the high leg cut not only shows off some cheeky bottom, it also accentuates your legs to make you look taller. Love it!

The quality of the swimsuit is good, thick and dries quickly. I can't comment on whether its true to size or not since I got the swimsuit in XL due to the other sizes being out of stock (all sizes have been restocked now ^^). I am a UK size 8/10 or S/M so the swimsuit was slightly loose on me, but I think it was more of a size L than XL. It is was a true XL, it would have been too loose on me and I wouldn't have been able to get away with it. So keep in mind the swimsuit might be a little smaller than the size mentioned. I also wish it had padding to cover up any cold nipple action from showing. Other than that, I utterly adore the cut and style of the swimsuit. I think it would suit everyone. :)

Outfit Details:

Swimsuit: Zaful
Sunglasses: Dresslink

*Disclaimer: Swimsuit was sent complimentary from Zaful but does not affect my opinions and the review.

Banila Co Clean It Zero Sorbet Cleansing Balm - Resveratrol Review | KBEAUTY

Glow Mo UK £22
If I was only allowed to bring one skincare item to a desert island, it would be a good cleansing balm or cleansing oil. It does everything you need - it cleanses away heavy makeup and hydrates your skin for that dewy glow. Perfect for my low maintenance lovelies. Here today I have a Korean Beauty cult favourite, it's one of the best selling cleansers. I took it with me when I was travelling Malta is to test this baby out.

There is 4 variation of the cleansing balm, each is tailored for a different skin type. (The 4th pink one is missing from the picture above) I went for the green one - Resveratrol because I have combination skin that can sometimes get super oily. It's formulated with natural oils, fruit extracts and herbal extract for gentle cleansing.

It comes with 100ml of product in a hugeee ass tub, the packaging is not travel-friendly. I highly recommend you to transfer some into a small container, it was so troublesome getting this past airport security, they thought it went over the 100ml liquid limit because of the tub's size.

Comes with a spatula so that you can easily cut into the balm and scoop out some product. The balm actually has a light green tint (which you can't really see in the picture thanks to terrible hotel lighting) and it smells a little like a melon.

It has a sherbert-like texture that melts into an oil when you massage it into your face. The oil becomes milky when you add water to it to rinse it off. I love massaging my face with this, it feels soooo nice! A little goes a long way, so a tub will last you for ages. I also use this as my eye and lip makeup remover because I'm too lazy to use 2 separate products just to remove my makeup. It does a good job, it even melts away my waterproof eyeliner and mascara. Be careful not to get it inside your eyes though, it doesn't sting but it makes your vision blurry.

Pros

  • Gentle to the skin
  • Does an amazing job melting all traces of makeup
  • Easy to rinse off and doesn't leave any oily residue
  • Great for massaging your face with
  • Leaves face feeling super clean and moisturised after
  • Didn't break me out

Cons

  • Packaging is bulky, would be great if they did a smaller travel size

Overall it's a really good cleansing balm and I can see why everyone loves it! My lazy ass loves this because I can carry fewer products with me. My skin feels super clean and really supple every time I use it. I really appreciate it doesn't leave any greasy residue behind, some cleansing oils do and it breaks me out!

Have you tried anything from Banila's Clean It Zero series?
