So...? Dry Shampoo Review - (Va Va Volume, Fabulous, Lovely)

I love the So...? Perfume sprays, so when I found out that So..? does dry shampoos, I decided to try them out. ^_^ The packaging is eye catching and sassy, I love that they used bold colours. It like carrying an accessory around.

I'll do a review for each one, since they each offer different results and different scents. ^^ They also have a purple one called So...? Glamorous, which unfortunately I couldn't find in stores. >.<

So...? Va Va Volume - Xtra Body (BLACK)

I love the volume and body Va Va Volume gives me. My hair is always flat whenever I wake up, so volume is essential for me. This used in conjunction with teasing, gives you beautiful voluminous hair. It has a sandalwood and mature floral scent (like jasmine). A really calming scent, however I personally find it a bit overwhelming since the scent is not really my cup of tea.

So...? Fabulous - Fruity & Fresh (BLUE)

This one is my favourite scent, a fruity citrus scent that lifts up my mornings. Although this does not give "extra body" the volume is still great. Its just not as long lasting as Va Va Volume.

So...? Lovely - Floral & Flirty (PINK)

This one has a sweet and girly scent, a hint a rose - which I think is great for dates or when you're feeling girly. ^^ Same as Fabulous, it still gives a little volume.

Overall

The dry shampoos do an amazing job - it absorbs the oils, leaves my hair fresh for hours, smells great and gives volume. ^^ I always spray a good amount of dry shampoo, So...? gives the least white residue. A little rubbing and brushing will get rid of the white coating. This is really great for people with oily hair and in-between washes.

Pros:

  • Affordable
  • Does the job - absorbs excess oils and leave hair fresh for hours
  • Leaves little residue
  • Great variety of scents

Cons:

  • Only con is that not much stores have them stocked :c I hope that it will expand more so that more people will get to try these out!

Rating: 9/10

Would I repurchase?

Indeed - these are currently my favourite dry shampoos. ^^

Would I recommend?

100% - affordable and lovely variety of scents to suit everyone. They also sell  these as a gift set. It comes with all 4 of the scents and in a cute travel size, a great christmas gift. ^^

What are some of your favourite dry shampoos? ^^

KPop Makeup - B.A.P 1004 Angel Makeup Tutorial / Natural Look

Another B.A.P Makeup tutorial~ This was requested was by a reader, so here it is! ^.^ Hope you'll like it~ I am currently sick, so my face looks bloated/weird. T^T

The 1004 makeup is quite light compared to their signature make up, so its great for everyday wear. ^^ This look is something different for me, since my eyeliner is always thick .__. (I need to make my Asian eyes look bigger you know xDD) So personally I think I don't pull off this look well. >.<

B.A.P didn't have much promotional pictures for 1004, so I watched their live performances to see their makeup clearly. This is the print screen I used for reference. ^^

Starting off with the products I used for the look ^^

Pictorial:

The look is now complete~ You don't need to apply the eye shadow as high as I did. The brown eye shadow should only peak out a little to contour the eyes. But since I have double eye lids, the eye shadow wouldn't have shown up. >.<

Hope you guys found this tutorial helpful and if you guys decide the try it out please show me! I would love to see your take on it~ ^__^

Eyeko FAT BALM - Minty Review

Quick review because of procrastination hehe. I am not 100% sure but I think this is a discontinued product .__. if you're lucky, you can still find them online for around £5-£10~ ^^

The packaging is cute! I use my fingers to apply the balm onto my lips - so the size is an attraction factor, not really practical. The balm has a subtle smell of mint, which is really nice. It contains Jojoba oil, so it hydrates the lips very well. It also contains SPF 15 to protect your lips.

The colour is light pearl pink, great for  everyday. However, it is very sheer! In all honesty, I think this shade a waste of money. You could purchase Nivea's Kiss of Shimmer, which offers very similar results and is a lower price. I can't say for the other shades, since they're darker so it may be more pigmented. I like the 2-1 concept, you can apply it onto your lips and cheeks. Great for traveling. If you apply this balm on your cheeks, it has a subtle colour with a dewy finish.

Pros:

  • Mineral oil and lanolin free
  • Hydrating
  • Has SPF 15
  • Versatile

Cons:

  • Not pigmented

Rating: 5/10

Would I repurchase?

Nope - you can purchase other lip balms that offer the same result for a lower price. If i were to repurchase it, I would get a darker colour so that more colour shows up ^^

Would I recommend?

For this shade - No. People are likely to purchase the FAT BALMs for it's colour (or for the cute packaging xD), but since it doesn't have much pigment, you're better off purchasing a regular lip balm or look into a different product with more pigment.

Have you tried any new lip balms recently? ^^

Beauty & Fashion Wishlist #1

Girls want quite a lot, don't they? Well this is my wish list for this month, its too long to wait for special occasions just to make a wish list. xD

1. Foreo Luna Mini - Magenta or Petal Pink £99

This product was featured in SecretLifeOfABioNerd's most recent video, i'm curious as to how it varies to a cleansing brush. ^^ Although I don't own a electronic cleansing brush, I think this will be more gentle and suitable for my skin.

2. Innisfree - Mineral Shading £8.20

I seriously need to get a new bronzer before I run out. >.< This one caught my eye, however I can't find any reviews or swatches. >.<

3. NYX - The Curve Liner £14

I really like the fine tip and curve of the eyeliner. ^_^

4. IZZI Slim iPhone 5 Camera Case 4 in 1 Lens - White £69.99

I've seen so many Youtubers with this case! I love the different lens and it great since I take a lot of photos!

5. Jouer Anti-Blemish Matte Primer £29

Much much in need of a good primer, that helps to keep me matte. >.< This is helps to prevent blemishes too, so its a bonus.

6. Missguided Graphic Checked Shirt £24.99

Not usually my style, but i've been loving the grid and checked trend this season~ ^^

7. Leather Tote Bag

I've been eying this for ages but i can't decided which colour to get. >.< Maybe I should purchase both hehe~

Whats on your wish list for this month? ^_^

KPop Fashion - TTS Adrenaline Tartan Outfit

Tartan is so on trend for 2014 - I keep seeing it everywhere! Especially in the music scene. The outfits that caught my eye the most are from TTS's Adrenaline performance. I love their outfits! - its edgy yet elegant. I love the contrast of black and red and how they paired a sheer chiffon blouse with tartan. Loads of interesting textures + patterns. My favourite outfit is probably Tiffany's, although I am more likely to wear Taeyeon's. >w< I shall do some inspired kpop fashion posts soon, when I have time. ^_^ Its been a while since i've done one.

You can watch the performance here~

What trend/outfit have you been liking this month? ^__^
