Oh my holy lord of potatoes, I finally filmed my first Lookbook after many many long months! It was awkward AF filming it with people walking past and watching. How do people do this? Omg. But i'm really happy with the outcome of my lookbook video; I was expecting it to be not so good since i'm a complete noob when it comes to filming! Hopefully one day I can film good quality lookbooks~ ^^ If anyone is good with filming or video editing please teach me! ^.^ <333 Will love you five-ever. :')

PIZZA OR CAVIAR?

About to slay a bxtch but first pizza or carviar? #firstworldstruggles #lifedecisions

This pullover sweater from Dresslink is currently my new fave! I'll admit, i've probably worn this 2 or 3 times this week oopps. The graphic print and geometric pattern reminds me of Japanese and Korean street style, absolutely love it! *^* I styled it with a face masks to add some bad ass vibe and kick~ Sweater/jumper dresses are my go to pieces when I'm in a rush or feeling lazy because I can look stylish effortlessly. The dress is only available in one-size, which is suppose to fit all but I think it would be tight on medium or above. I do wish the dress was slightly more oversized like they've shown on the model but I love it nevertheless. ^^

What's your go to fashion item? ^.^

PASTEL Purple Punk - Schwarzkopf Ultra Brights Hair Dye Review

Boots - £5.49 | Link

As promised, a detailed review of the Schwarzkopf Ultra Bright dye in Purple Punk! ^^ I've been committed to pink hair for over a year now, so I wanted to switch it up to fully lilac. Note I said fully lilac because at one point I had a lilac and pink ombre (scroll down my instagram @MishCheungX to see). Getting started with the review~

Contents in the box:

  • Semi Permanent Hair Dye
  • 2x Sachet of Caring Shine Conditioner
  • Instruction Leaflet and Gloves

Hair Dying Process:

I diluted the dye with conditioner until I got my desired colour, then left it on my hair for 30 minutes. The consistency of the dye is much thicker than typical semi permanent hair dyes. So if you don't mix the dye-conditioner mixture properly there will be clumpy bits of dye in the mixture, which will make your hair patchy. You can watch my video to see the technique I used to prevent getting a clumsy mixture.

Btw the dye will stain your hands so please wear the gloves provided or your own! ^^

Hair Before: Bleach Blonde

Hair After: Lilac Roots and Pink Hair

The dye came out a lavender pink colour on sections of my hair that was light blonde and lilac on my roots which were platinum. Although the results aren't uniform due to my hair beforehand, I really like the colour~ The colour lasted me for 3/4 weeks so 6-8 washes. I've already been through 3 boxes, so I would likely to keep repurchasing and deffo recommend this. ^^

Rating: 8/10

Lemme know in the comments what you think and what colour you think I should go next! ^.^

XHC Revitalsing Coconut Water Hydrating Hair Conditioner Review

Poundland £1

Long time no review ayeee, apologises being for MIA but damn are uni group projects hectic! Anyway today i'll be reviewing this Coconut Water Conditioner by Xpel Hair Care as requested by a few of you from my most recent haul. ^^ I got this from Poundland so yes this baby was only £1 *yassssss absolute bargain* #livingstudentliferight

Product Description:

I'm always on the look for new hair products, hoping they'll do wonders to my hair because who doesn't want luscious lock? I instantly fell in fell with this when I smelt it. Love at first sniff ahhaha. The scent of the conditioner is amazing! It's a really rich and indulging creamy coconut scent - LOVE IT! <3

The consistency of conditioner is quite runny and applies nicely onto your hair. It managed to provide a decent amount of hydration to my hair, my hair wasn't silky and smooth hair after use but it wasn't straw like either. I expected that since my hair is severely dry from bleaching and I normally have to use hair masks/treatments in placement of normal conditioner. (Incase if you're wondering why I purchased contionder then, I got it for diluting hair dye~ ^^).

If you have normal unbleached hair, I think this could be a great product for you. ^^  The quality is not bad at all for its price and would be great for those on a budget. Overall an average conditioner with a lovely pleasant coconut scent.

Rating: 6/10

Have you tried out any new hair or coconut products? ^^
