Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Cucumber Sheet Mask Review

Inb4: Yes I sliced up half a cucumber for the first photo #creativephotographygamestrong :')

There are 16 variations of the Innifree It's Real sheet masks; each have slightly different functions, but all offer moisture, nourishment, radiance and renewal to your skin. The cucumber mask's function is to mainly soothe, hydrate and refresh your skin. It contains cucumber extracts to make your skin clear and vital, as well as Jeju green complex to keep your skin healthy.

How to use:

  • Apply the mask after cleansing and toning your face
  • Leave it on for 10  to 20mins
  • Massage or dab the remaining essence with your fingertips for your skin to adsorb it better

Unlike other mask i've tried, this one was not lined with plastic. Be gentle when unfolding to prevent it from ripping. The mask has cutouts for your eyes and nose - great feature. It contains 20ml of solution, which is the perfect amount! No solution dripped when I was taking it out and there was very minimal left in the package. The scent is lovely~ theres a tiny hint of cucumber but it's more of perfumed floral scent.

I left it on for 20 minutes - sooooo refreshing and relaxing! It has a cooling sensation even if you don't put the mask in the fridge beforehand. The mask brightened up my complexion and left my skin feeling very hydrated and plumed. Reduced the A LOT of redness, as well as dark circles - did not expect this, so I was pretty wowed. The results lasted for like a day? ^^ The remaining essence absorbed in nicely and did not leave any residue. Very excited to try out the other functions. :')

Pros:

  • Hydrating
  • Brightening
  • Soothing - reduces redness and dark circles too
  • Absorbs easily and does not leave residue
  • Inexpensive

Cons:

  • No plastic lining, so be gentle

Rating: 9/10

Would I recommend?

Indeed! A great treat all year round, refreshing during summer and hydrating during winter. It would work well before applying makeup and after a long day of work. I think this mask would be best suited for those with drier skin.

Have you tried any the Innisfree It's Real masks? ^^

KPop Diet #13: Clara Lee's Perfect Model Body Diet and Workout

The last KPop diet post I did was back in November oops. >.< If you're not familiar with Clara's she's an actress and model. You may recognise her from Jay Park's Joah MV. This post will focus on her workout and diet to achieve a model body.

Clara's Diet:

  • Bibimbap without pepper paste or sesame oil
  • Oil-based pasta
  • Steak without pepper or salt
  • Everyday eat breakfast and dinner on small plates (smaller proportions) and lunch on regular plates

Workout:

  • Girl's Day - Female President choreography. Clara says "there's a lot of moves where they twist upper and lower bodies in different directions. Its the best for making abs."
  • She exercised for 2 hours every for 6 months

A fairly easy and fun diet and routine to do~ ^^

LUSH Big Blue Ballistic Bath Bomb Review

This bath bomb is perfect for de-stressing! A mini escape to the seaside away from revision and responsibilities~

Big Blue contains arame seaweed, which is rich in vitamins and minerals, great for your skin as it soften, tones and detoxifies. It also helps regulates your metabloism so that you'll feel calm. Fine sea salt to soften and remove dead skin cells. As well as essential oils - lemon and lavender.

When you drop the bomb into your bath, it will begin to fizzle and bubble, turning the water into a beautiful rich lagoon blue colour. The seaweed swirls around the water and settles to bottom of the tub, it does softens so don't worry about it scratching your skin. As you soak in all the nutrients, your skin becomes soft and smooth.

The seaweed adds to overall summer getaway seaside experience, which I think is very cool. However some people may not like it. There is quite a lot of seaweed and the pieces are small, it would be great if the pieces were larger so that it would be easier to clean. I used a drain filter to catch the seaweed, incase it clogged my drains.

I'm actually not a fan of seaside/ocean scents but I really enjoyed the scent of Big Blue! Slight ocean with a hint of calming floral from the lavender oil and touch of refreshing lemon citrus. Very relaxing experience and refreshed my mind.

Pros:

  • Turns water into a beautiful vivid blue, that last throughout the experience
  • Soft and smooth skin after use
  • Lovely calming yet refreshing scent
  • Fragrance lingers on body until the next day

Cons:

  • A little too much seaweed, might clog drains

Rating: 8/10

Overall

A wonderful little treat! Perfect during exam season (or any stressful occasions). The bath bomb gives you a lovely experience almost like a mini getaway - drifting and relaxing you with summer vibes~ Definitely recommend this to people that don't mind seaweed or the little clean up. ^^

Have you tried any Lush bath bombs? If so, which is your favourite? :')

KPop Inspired Hair: Red Velvet Ice Cream Cake Blonde and Peach Ombre

주세요 달콤한 그 맛 Ice Cream Cake~ ^.^

In before anyone comes for me: I didn't dye my hair again.

Before I dyed my hair pink/purple; I bleached the roots and mid length of my hair to lighten the regrowth and to fix up a previous patchy mess. Which resulted in a quite an interesting ombre look that reminded me of Red Velvet's hair in their most recent song - Ice Cream Cake. So I took this opportunity to take some Ice Cream Cake inspired pictures...

major fail if I must say! xDD I didn't plan to post these photos, since these were taken the day right after bleaching. So my hair didn't have enough time to recover and looks fried... .___. Posted them in the end anyway because my friend wanted to use them as reference in the future. ^^ Here you are~

and omggggg, any readers listen to KPop? So many good comebacks this month! Rap Mon, Bang Yong Guk, EXO, EXID, San E etc. I AM SO BLOWN AWAY! Everyone is absolutely slayingggggg abhahbjsa. What's your fave song this month? :') I can't choose >.<

Fuchsia Purple Hair | Schwarzkopf Live XXL HD Luminance Hair Dye - Ultra Violet L76 Review

A few people asked me about my new hair colour~ so here it is! ^^

Starting off with the contents, the box contains everything in standard boxed dyes:

  • Developer
  • Colour Cream
  • After Treatment
  • Instruction Leaflet
  • Gloves

Dying Process:

I first mixed the developer and colour cream together to form the dye in a tub and then applied it to my hair in sections. This dye will stain your hands, so be sure to wear the gloves provided or your own. The gloves provided are the really big, it won't cling onto your hands, so it may provide difficulties to people with small hands during application. One box was enough to cover my medium-long length hair. After 30 minutes, I rinsed out the hair dye and applied the after treatment. The after treatment is average, it wasn't bad but it didn't leave my hair noticeably soft either.

Hair Results:

The dye does match the colour on the box. But since I have pre-lightened hair, the pink base shows up a lot more than the purple pigments.

The dye did fade a little after one wash, resulting into a more fuchsia colour. This reminds me of their shade "Pure Purple".

Natural Lighting

Here is the colour in different lightings:

I adore the outcome of the dye, the colour is very pretty and vivid. The pink base makes the colour appear playful and romantic, whilst the purple pigment gives a mysterious vibe. The colour is very eye-catching, you are bound to have someone comment on your hair. As with the HD detail and shine, there is a pretty shine but it fades after 2-3 washes. I can't comment on the "fade resistance" aspect, as my bleached hair doesn't hold colour in well to begin with.

Rating: 7.5/10

Pros:

  • Beautiful vibrant colour
  • Gives hair colour shine
  • Easy to use
  • Even coverage

Cons:

  • Contains ammonia
  • Gloves are too big

Would I recommend?

If you're looking for a fun colour and "want to stand out from the crowd" as the box states haha, then yes! Affordable and easily accessible from any drugstore. I'm not so sure if they sell these dyes in other countries but in the UK it can be found everywhere.

What hair colour are you currently rocking? Tell me in the comments below~ :')
Thanks for reading, have a great day! ^__^
