LEE STAFFORD | Breaking Hair (FIX IT) Conditioner Review

Going on vacay is always a good excuse to purchase new products right? I picked up a few Lee Stafford products when I was in Australia as it's quite hyped by bloggers. We have Lee Stafford in the UK as well, but it just worked out to be cheaper in AUS. (For my UK lovelies, you can get it from Amazon or Boots). I got the Breaking Hair Conditioner, Treatment and Detangling Spray. Today i'll be reviewing the conditioner first~ ^^ I believe they renamed the Breaking Hair range to Fix It instead; the product descriptions and ingredients are still the same.

► Product Description:

The Breaking Hair (Fix It) range is specifically made for those with damage and over-processed hair caused by styling and colouring. Yeppp these product was screaming at me because I am constantly bleaching my hair non stop. It's suppose to help repair and rehydrate your hair to make it smooth and healthy again.

► Review:

It has a creamy and runny consistency. The scent is quite a hard one to describe, I would say it smells like men's cologne. You can smell it quite strong in the shower. I personally prefer fruity scents but my friends seem to like it and have complimented it.

► Results:

I have used this conditioner over one month now. My hair was noticeably softer and shiner after first usage. However, I feel like the conditioner just coats my hair rather than hydrating it. My hair feels soft and manageable after using it on the first day. On the second day, my hair feels dry and crispy. Let's not even mention third day hair because if I have reached that point, I probably had slapped on tons of leave in conditioners and oils into my hair. I really wanted to like this product because the softness after feels amazing! The results just didn't last which was disappointing. I haven't noticed much difference with reduced breakage either. The conditioner may work wonders for you/others but from my personal experience it didn't hold up to the claims. So I rate this product 3.5/10.

Denim on Denim | Outfit

I've been super busy drowning in deadlines and trying to stay afloat, so here is a quick outfit update! Spring is finally here! Slowly transiting my outfits to fit the weather and i'm bringing my Miss Guided turtle neck with me! It's has a ribbed texture and is nicely thick so it keeps me warm enough without a coat. I never used to be fond of turtle necks but now my wardrobe is filled with them! Such a versatile and timeless piece.

Good luck to all my bbs that have deadlines coming up. Work hard and hang in there! <3

Outfit Details:

Jumper: Miss Guided
Jacket: YesStyle

Using Tinder For The First Time & Reading My Tinder Messages

Today I filmed a very different video from my usual KPop and Beauty videos. I'm sure most of us have heard of the dating app Tinder, which people often use for hookups and the occasional date. I decided to download the app myself to a gain insight to the Tinder world and to see if it really lives up to the reputation it has.

I found it quite funny how ridiculously direct some people were, while some approached online dating with cute messages. In the video I read the range of Tinder messages I received publicly. So watch the video and enjoy the journey using Tinder with me~ ^^ Just a note - I found that people who approached Tinder by sending pick up lines or cute messages first, ended up unmatching when they don't get what they want. So don't fool for those people that beat around the bush to hide their intentions. I find it hard to believe people find their true love (maybe the few exceptional 1% because my friend actually did) when its very clear people use the app for that one thing.

SILVER LILAC HAIR | Schwarzkopf LIVE Lightener + Twist Cool Lilac Hair Dye Review Results

Superdrug £5.49 - Link

I discover the Schwarzkopf Lightener and Twist when I was in Superdrug was like yassss a product that lightens your hair up to 4 shades and tones it to a cute pastel colour, i've got to try it! There are 4 colours available - Lilac, Rose, Peach and Blonde. I opted out for Cool Lilac instead of Cool Rose since i've had pink hair for one and a half year, i'm over my pink hair days for now. But anyway enough rambling, let's get started with the review~

► Product:

The box comes with a developer, colour cream, instructions, gloves and instructions. It's recommend for people with blonde hair, not sure if they mean naturally blonde hair? But it works on bleached blonde hair as well. I mixed the developer and colour cream, then applied the product to my hair to develop for 30 minutes.

► Hair Before Dyeing:

I had lilac hair prior dyeing it. It's very patchy which I was not fond of at all, hence why I decided to go over with the lightener hoping to even it out.

► Results - Hair After:

Happy and very impressed with the results! As you can see the colour matches the box accurately. The colour is a lovely silver lilac colour. I love how subtle the lilac is. It's slightly warmer than the lilac I had before dyeing it. In darker lightening it looks silver, which I am absolutely in love with. I was quite skeptical before dyeing it as I read some reviews where the colour came out quite pink. Luckily that wasn't the case for me.

► Overall:

I'm definitely going to be using these more in the future and hope that Schwarzkopf release more colours. I'm going to be ditching semi permanent dyes for these! It saves time as it's a 2 in 1 process. The colour comes out more even than applying semi permanent dyes over bleached/blonde hair. It did lighten my hair. I can't say how this would work on darker hair as I didn't have any regrowth to test it out on. Only downside I have to say, is that it did slightly dry out my hair. Which should be fine after a few hair treatments but please keep that in mind if you have dry or damage hair.

► Rating: 7/10

GEO Magic Brown Circle Lens Review | Pinky Paradise

Pinky Paradise $19.90 | LINK

Shhhh i'm revealing the secret as to why I've have been looking slightly different in my selfies recently~ ^.< I've been wearing the Geo Magic circle lenses! These lenses are for my lovelies that prefer something natural, the lenses are so subtle to the point people can't even tell that you're wearing them.

► Lens Care & Info:

For first time users or just for quick refresh, Pinky Paradise has a Wear and Care Guide that includes everything you need from how to open circle lenses bottle to inserting the lens into your eye. *As always soak your lenses in solution for at least overnight before wearing them.

► Colour & Pattern: 3/5

A simple and minimal pattern design, nothing special. The colour doesn't lighten your eyes, it's just blends in seamlessly with dark brown eyes. They blend in really well, so its hard for people to tell that you're actually wearing lenses. The colour remains the same in different lighting. The lenses also come in black, so if you wanted the limbal ring to be more noticeable and to darken your eyes slightly then you may prefer the black ones over brown.

► Enlargement: 3.5/5

The lenses have diameter of 14.2mm. Gives a very subtle enlargement to the eyes which I think is perfect for natural enhancement. But if you're looking for lenses that will noticeably enlarge your eyes, these don't provide it. You know them beauty app that enlarge your eyes slightly? These lenses basically give you the real life photoshop effect. No need to use that app feature anymore eh?

► Comfort: 5/5

I have worn these for 10+ hours because I forgot that I was wearing them. They're that comfortable. *Not recommended to wear them for that long.* The lenses are thin, no discomfort or dryness experienced. I was quite concerned it would dry out my eyes as the water content is slightly lower compared to ones I normally wear, thankfully these still wore out great!

► Overall:

For someone thats not fond of super natural lenses (because I want people to be able to notice that i'm wearing lenses yo), I really like them! These are definitely everyday lenses, that subtly enlarges your eyes. Great for first time buyers. Not recommended for cosplay purposes for obvious reasons.

Would love to give you guys a discount code but unfortunately my Pinky Paradise one expired! >.< Will try to get you guys another one! <3 x
