Fishnet Grunge Outfit | ZANSTYLE Pantskirt Review

Skort: ZanStyle

ZanStyle were lovely enough to send me a few of their clothing pieces to play around with and style. ZanStyle is a new online store that offers casual smart chic clothing. While i'm not much of a casual chic girl (unless when my job requires me to be), I did really like how simple and effortless their clothing pieces are. My favourite is the black panskirt! You can probably already guess why if you follow my fashion/outfit posts. ^.< I absolutely adore the rivet and side ribbon detailing! It's all about the small detailing and touches for me. The panskirt is actually shorts made to look like a skirt. The quality of the panskirt is nicely made too, so I do recommend this skort!

For a casual chic outfit, I would style the panskirt with a sky blue blouse. However, I have been into grunge fashion lately, so I decided to take approach it with a grungy touch by styling the panskirt with fishnet tights under. (Yes, I am major late but i've finally jumped onto the fishnet trend!) I think it the perfect combo and I utterly love how it looks! I've rocking it the pairing a lot.

Do you prefer casual chic outfits or edgy outfits? ^^

Outfit Details:

Jacket: Valley Girl
Top: New Look
Skort: ZanStyle
Tights: Primark

Schwarzkopf | Color Mask Hair Dye Review - Pearl Blonde 910

When I can't decide which colour I want to switch my hair to blonde is always my go to colour, as I can leave it as it is or add some colour later. Today i'm going to be using the Colour Mask Hair Dye from Schwarzkopf. It's the first hair mask colourant, designed like a hair mask for easy usage and for extra healthy shine. This line has actually been around for a while but with so many dyes on the market, I didn't get round to trying it until now. Let's get into the review to see how this mask dye performs differently from regular dyes!

► Product:

The box contains the standard colour cream, developer, hair treatment, instructions and gloves. The only difference is that the developer comes in a hair mask like tub instead of a bottle.

► Dying Process:

To mix the dye together you'll need to empty the colour cream into the developer cream tub and shake it up and down roughly for 30 seconds. It was fun shaking it but it also felt like doing a mini arm workout. Once finished shaking, you'll get a blue coloured dye that has a thick and creamy consistency. Then apply the dye throughout your entire hair and leave it to develop for 30 minutes. I found it very easy to apply as the dye didn't drip and it smelt pretty good. Lastly, rinse the dye off and pamper your hair with the shea butter conditioner after.

► Results: Hair Before Dying

My hair before was bleached blonde, with brassy roots and more yellow than the rest of my hair. The dye is actually recommended for those with naturally blonde hair as it only lifts up to 2 levels.

► Results: Hair After Dying

This is my hair after, a light platinum blonde. The colour matched the box pretty accurately, the dye made my hair shinier compared to other dyes. As for the shea butter conditioner, I think that it's very much like the other Schwarzkopf conditioners, but my hair does feel amazingly soft.

► Overall:

An interesting dye, with a creamy hair mask like texture. The consistency made application friendly and covered my hair evenly. The colour matches the swatches on the box. It's super affordable and conditions your hair nicely while it does it job. I really like this dye and think that it's under rated.

► Rating: 9/10

CHAMPAGNE PINK HAIR? | FRESHLIGHT SCHWARZKOPFT DYE REVIEW

BONJOUR HONG KONG $52

How adorable and unique does champagne pink sound for a hair colour? The packaging is even more cute! It's also what lured me into purchasing and trying out this dye. Let's jump right into the review because the result of this dye ended up pretty interesting and underwhelming at the same time...

► Contents:

The box includes the colour cream, developer, instruction leaflet, hair mask, brush applicator and a pair of gloves. Everything was written in Japanese so I didn't understand what it was saying. But it was very straightforward and easy to use as it's the same as your standard drugstore hair dyes.

► Process:

I sectioned up my hair and applied the dye onto my bleached hair, leaving it to develop for around 30 minutes. You can watch all the mixing process in the video above~ The dye made my hair look very lilac when it was developing, I thought the colour was going to turn out as a unique mauvy lilac however the results were completely different to box and not what I expected!

► Before Dying:

Yes I forgot to take a photo of my hair before I dyed it... I am literally face palming myself! So here's a screenshot of my hair colour from a Youtube video before I dyed it on the day.

► After Dying:

HERE'S WHAT WE'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR! The colour looks completely different to when the dye was on right? After washing out the dye, my hair turned out as cool silver blonde with a very subtle hint of pink. It's a cute colour. The pink isn't very noticeable, I wish the pink was more intense like when the dye was developing.

► After 2 Washes:

Only after 2 washes, the pink completely faded to fully silver. The colour faded so quickly, you would think that I have dyed my hair again.

► Overall:

The dye was easy to use and came with everything you would need. This is the first box dye that i've tried that DOESN'T match the box. Usually the swatches on the back of the box are fairly accurate in my opinion, but this was off the charts. I guess it may be a different story for unique fashion colours? Although I do like the colour, the dye on a whole was disappointing - the result was completely unexpected and the colour faded ridiculously quick. Therefore I would not recommend this dye. Don't fall for the cute packaging like I did! I'll give kudos to Fresh Light for marketing technique.

► Rating: 4/10

COSY CLUB, Liverpool - Lunch Review

Another food diary post because eating is all I want to do right now. Anyway~ when exploring new cities, trying out new food places is of course a must! We was originally going to visit a different cafe but we got attracted in by all the pretty lights and it seemed like a decent place for brunch so why not?

► Atmosphere:

Located right in Liverpool's city centre, it's easy to find or stumble across on. The restaurant walls were decorated with historic paintings from head to toe, it almost felt like you were eating in an art museum! A very Instagram worthy place if you enjoy taking pictures of interior. Comfy cushioned chairs and super relax vibes, it tights nicely in with the name of Cosy Club.

► Drinks:

You know I love a bit of fizz or bevvies on my blog, so we went for some mocktails. I know, it's sadly not some cheeky cocktails but we were going to a festival after so we decided to save the drinking for later.

I went for Virgin Mojito - the perfect refreshing summer drink. It has the classic fresh mint, limes, sugar and soda. Sharp flavour and delightful, it was what I needed to get the day started. My friend Claudia went for Pink Lemonade, which consists of lemonade, pomegranate, strawberry, lemon juice and ginger ale. Great choice if you're after something sweet yet citrusy.

► Food:

Time for the main part! They had a deal where you get 3 choice of Tapas for around £12 so we had 2 BBQ chicken wings because you know girls love their wings, with Garlic King Prawns. The wings taste bomb and were succulent. They also gave us complimentary bread, which would of been nice if it had butter too.

I was so ecstatic when I saw they had a vegan menu! However... when what I ordered came I was a bit disappointed to say. I went for the Avocado Brunch, which consists of avocado, tomato, coriander and lime on a toasted puccia bread. It wasn't terrible or amazing, average I would say. With the name Avocado Brunch you would expect it to have a lot more avocado. It's nice to see restaurants trying to accommodate to people's dietary preferences, but at this point I still think it's for capitalist gain purposes unless the restaurant is fully vegan.

► Overall:

Overall in nutshell - the atmosphere was great and you get a nice view of the city as well. Drink were good and they offer a range of choices. Food wise it was mediocre; I wouldn't mind going again but I am very unlikely to order the Avocado Brunch again.
